Registration starts at 4:15 tomorrow so get there early to guarantee a spot. Call one of us if you’re going to be running late. Daylight is not on our side tomorrow so we need to start on time. Bring your flashlights just in case.
It's a good thing we have a couple of really small courses.

The taco lady is going to be there after the round.

J-TOWN DOUBLES WEEK 1 RESULTS 2013

WEEK 1 - March 27, 2013
First Half #1
Shorewood Park-Shorewood
18 Holes - Short Tees - Par 54

CONDITIONS
The night started at around 41degrees with overcast skies.  By the end of the round it dropped to around 39 degrees. The winds were pretty much calm all night. It was a cool night for the spring/summer league. The course is a bit muddy. It’s still going to take some time to dry out. There is some construction taking place on some holes. Overall it was a great night to start the year.

COMMENTS
• It was great to see everyone again. We had many new faces that we hope will continue to show up each week. We also hope that the familiar faces that weren’t there will make their way back and be part of this year’s league. We miss you!
Please don’t be discouraged if you’re an AM and had a rough first night. Shake it off and try again next week. The more you play and learn from the league’s more advanced players the better your game will evolve. We’ve all been through this stage. We’ll see you next week.

•The Taco Lady is back! Juanita & Scott will be selling tacos for a $1.50 at league for most of the year.

• An opportunity to toughen the course had arrived so we took advantage. A construction fence lined a few holes so we made it OB. Hole six might of been a little drastic because the fence was about a foot behind the basket but hay it’s just doubles league. We will play it the same way again in two weeks if the fences are still there.

• Yesterday marks the first time in league history that the Wed. doubles league started in March. It was a little cold and sloppy but worth it. We actually had daylight when we were done!

This is the Mixed Tees layout for The Round Barn on Wednesday. This is a 19-hole layout. Hole 1 will be longer (264ft) with original Hole 2 Silver and then a Hole 2a (369ft). The new hole 1 and 2a are marked in blue lines on the pdf. The rest are mixed silver baskets (white lines) and red baskets (red lines).

If someone gets there early and wants to figure out the exact pin placement for 1 and a good teeing area for 2a according to the pdf map, please feel free to do so.

I will have color copies for everyone on Wednesday if you want one.

Don’t forget we are still under extreme daylight constraints. So sign up as soon as you can.

Click link for the pdf.
