Conditions: When the round started it was in the high 70s with some humidity . It cooled off into the low 70s at the end. Another very nice night. The course is excellent great shape.

The battles and trash talking are vicious in both divisions as the league winds down to the final week . It's going to be an all out brawl next week.
TOP THREE PRO/ADV Jason McKinney & Mike Vargo shoot an amazing round of 37(-17) to take the honors for the night. The end up taking home $57 each and become spoilers for the top contenders. Mick McGowan & Kris Hutter take second place shooting a great round of 39 (-15). They end up splitting 65 bucks and Kris tacks on a 3 huge points to his totals. Leo Borowski & Al Hermosillo take third with a very good round of 40 (-14). They end up taking home $17.50 each and Al tacks on 2 points to his total. This keeps him in the hunt for both the second half and overall. TOP THREE AM/NOV
We had a tie for first with the teams shooting 43s (-11). Kester Jeffers & Eric Fite pull out the playoff victory to capture the top honors for the night. They end up splitting 68 bucks. Eric moves into contention for the second half with this huge win. Cory Clements & Mike Ryan take second place and take home 20 bucks each. The three points for second place is a huge for Cory. He moves up in both the second half and the overall categories. Two young guns Jake Broughton & Kyle Chapman shoot a good round of 44(-10) to take the third spot alone. They end up splitting 29 bucks and play the role of spoiler. Very nice shooting guys.

whoever did the artwork for this stamp i saw on the tournament flyer is nuts.. that is one of the coolest again that i have seen. it looks like it will fit well with the others we have had for the channy classic previous years.
What Illinois players were you blown away by how good their skill level was when you first started playing casually or playing tournaments? In no particular order here’s my top six.
1. Bob Ryan 2. Scott Martin 3. Phil Arthur 4. Alex “Rifleman” Bingman 5. Tim Martin 6. Joe “Flash” Fleischauer - I’ve never seen anyone throw as far as Joe. He would anhyzer the whole length of hole 9 at Channahon with a Roc and blow past the basket. Only the trees behind the basket would stop the disc.

TOP THREE PRO/ADV Al Hermosillo & Ryan Gremillion easily win the Pro/Adv division by a stroke taken the top honors for the night. They end up shooting a great round of 40 (-14) and take home $58 each. This huge win for Al puts him into second place for the second half with a two point advantage over third place ( Kris Hutter). It also places him into second place overall with a one point advantage over the third spot (Darrin Johnson). With Ryan winning he catapults four spots into fourth place for the second half. He also ties Kris Hutter for fourth in the overall category with only one point out of third (Darrin Johnson). Eric Ford & Matt Travis end up playing spoiler taking the second spot for the night. They end up shooting a 41(-13) and splitting 67 bucks. Steve Forneris & Jeremy Buzz tie for third and win the playoff to take the honors. They end up taking home $18.50 each. With this finish Fern cushions his lead in the second half and overall categories.
TOP THREE AM/NOV
Shooting a nice round of 45 (-9) gave Matt Rogers & Cory Clements the win. They end up splitting 65 bucks. This is a huge win for Cory putting him only two strokes out of fourth place for the second half, which is the last cash spot. It also ties him with Matt Preston for third place overall which is the last trophy spot. We had a tie for second place with the teams shooting good rounds of 46 (-8). Jake Riley & Jason Smith pulled out the ctp playoff for the win. They take home 3 huge points and split 36 bucks. Jason jumps right into the fourth place spot alone for the second half and cushions his second place lead overall. All Jason has to do now is show up the next two weeks and he will take home the second place trophy for overall. Kester Jeffers & Zach Pershau take the third place honors for the night which payed them 12 bucks each. Zach quietly stays within striking distance for the third overall spot.

Matt Coyne and Dan Osysko take second place shooting a good round of 41 (-13). They end up splitting 72 bucks. Tom Matesevac & Dominic Sanfilippo end up in third place taking home 21 bucks each. They shot a good round of 42 (-12).

Dennis Plewa & Eric Fite take the top honors for the night by shooting a 46 (-8). They end up splitting $65. We had a four way tie for second with the teams shooting 47s (-7). Elmer Mueller & Todd Paraday pull out the win in ctp playoff on hole #10. They end up splitting 35 bucks. Taking third and splitting $24 were Mike Ryan & Tyler Seddon.
