We had a three way tie for first with the teams shooting great rounds of 52 (-20). Brian Kevish & Clayton Drake win the playoff on the fourth and final hole. They end up taking the top honors and split 122 bucks. Kris Hutter & Jason McKinney take the second spot collecting $40 each. Dave Kociuba & Mike Vargo end up in the third position and receive 26 bucks each.


TOP THREE
AM/NOV
We had a tie for first with the teams shooting  super rounds of 55 (-17). Todd Paraday & Randy McMurray win the playoff and take first for the night. They end up splitting $68. Mike Dykstra & Billy Plant end up with the second place finish and they split $40. Shooting a very nice round of 56(-16) and taking third place were Cory Clement and Adam Mohler. They end up taking home $14.50 each.

I’m thinking a least 10 guys said they’d definitely make it out. Yes there is a crap load of work to be done on the course. We should be able to knock a lot out tomorrow. We also need to go over by the Belmont side and cut like last year.

Highland Park Clean Up Party!

We need volunteers to come out this Saturday July 2 to help get Highland Park into shape for the 29th Illinois State Disc Golf Championships July 23-24. We’ll be weed whacking, cutting the tree lying over snake hill on hole 15, moving limestone, picking up garbage and much more. If you can make it out for a couple of hours that will be great. Bring any tools you have that might help especially weed whackers and wheel barrels. I’ll be out there by 8:00a.m. but come out whenever you can.

CONDITIONS
The temperature started and stayed in the mid 60s. It was extremely windy with 20-25 mph gusts. The course was a little muddy and it had a few broken limbs from the storm on Tuesday night. Overall it was in pretty good shape. A great night for disc golf even though the blue tees are still a bitch.

Shawn Harmon & Al Hermosillo shoot a great round of 47(-7) to take the top honors for the night. They end up splitting 118 bucks and tack on a huge 4 points to their first half totals. This is a huge win especially for Shawn, pushing him into second place with only one stroke out of first. Darrin Johnson & Brian Kevish take second place with a solid round of 48 (-6). They end up taking home $38 each and tack on a much needed 3 points to their first half totals. Darrin shoots up into a tie for fourth place and the last cash spot. Monk gives himself life by moving up into a tie for fifth with a much needed win next week. We had a four way tie for third with teams shooting rounds of 49 (-5). Ryan Gremillion & Matt Coyne win the ctp playoff on hole 10. They take home 25 bucks each. With this third place finish Ryan moves into a tie for first place with one week left.
Huge battles next week are in the making!

AM/NOV
Josh Delucio & Todd Paraday whip the Am field by 3 strokes shooting a great round of 52 (-2) They were the only Am/Nov team to shoot under par. They end up splitting 60 bucks and tack on a huge 4 points to their first half totals. Todd moves into second place by himself. Josh makes a big jump into the fourth place slot which is the last cash spot for the first half. Winning the playoff ctp for second place were Randy McMurray & Billy Plant. They end up splitting 32 bucks and Randy tacks on a huge 3 points to his total. This second place win keeps his two stroke lead for first with one week left. Mike Chenderle & Kevin Won take third and split $20.
