Hey I was reading the PDGA news letter and saw that different clubs throw these events.  Is anyone going to have an ice bowl for j town?? that would be a cool event i think to play

Hey Thor,

You should have one at Trinity. Trinity Services can be the beneficiary of cash raised and if they don’t accept food then a local Lockport food bank can benefit. We used to travel to the Ice Bowl in Milwaukee every year and it was a great time.

I would like to see this promote a local food bank. The most obvious in the Joliet area is Morning Star Missions.
I'll search further, but it's my understanding that it doesn't receive government aid. I think it would be easier to get local promotion for a local chariety.
I would like to mirror what Fox Valley is doing with Hesed House, promoting a local food bank.
I'll be thrilled to assist you with that goal in mind.
