WEEK 3 - April 26, 2017
First Half #3
Community Park, Channahon, IL

TEES
Short Tees - Par 54

CONDITIONS
The night started out at around 70 degrees with cloudy skies.  The winds were blowing from the west at around 13 mph. Some of the gusts were near the 20 mph range. As the round began the winds died down to 5-8 mph. The temperature dropped to around 65 by the end of the night making it a pleasant ending. Only a few drops of rain came throughout the night. Not even enough to open up an umbrella. For the most part the course was in great shape except for hole 1 and 3 which still had some standing water. Overall it was a perfect night for disc golf.

NEW WOMENS DIVISION
This year will have an all womens division. We will keep points the same way as the other divisions. We will have one first half winner, one second half winner and one overall winner. We hope more women will come out throughout the year. Please spread the word.

NOTES
• Once again we had many new faces that we hope will continue to show up each week. We also hope that the familiar faces that weren’t there will make their way back and be part of this year’s league.
We miss you!

• Please don’t be discouraged if you’re an AM and had a rough night. Shake it off and try again next week. The more you play and learn from the league’s more advanced players the better your game will evolve. We’ve all been through this stage. We’ll see you next week.

• Thor “Trustee” Batchelor and Nick “Beam” Austin shoot a fantastic round of 40 (-14) to easily clam the victory for the night in Pro/Adv Division.
