• 2nd Session Report has been turned in to the PDGA and paid.

3. Greater Joliet Bag Tags (Saturdays)
• Will contact other involved clubs to see if they are interested in working together again this year.
• Every other week to be held at Dellwood.
4. 2019 Ice Bowl
• 2/16, Trinity, bring your own partner, 1 round combined score, 1 round best shot
• Ismael will TD, Jason will ATD
• Salvation Army will be the charity.

7. Round Barn Signs
• Thor:
o Over the years J Town Disc Golf Club has spent money to help with course improvements. Highland Park seems to be the main course that gets the most love, which in my opinion is the right course to put money into. I am looking to start improving Round Barn Farm in Manhattan and the course needs tee signs. I do understand that the course is not the most popular course but it is a course that J Town uses in singles play, doubles play, tournaments, and casual rounds. Below is what I have priced out for the cost of the materials.
o 18 tee signs.
18 signs x $40 = $720
18 -4x4x10 ft #2 pressure treated lumber x $10.17 $183.06
54 bags of concrete x $6.59 = 355.86
o The grand total to put the signs in and I will volunteer the labor will be $1,258.92. Now if you have any ideas on how to do this cheaper I am all ears and willing to work with whoever to get them done as cheap as possible and installed by the end of September. If you have any questions please feel free to ask questions.
• Board would like Thor to present his case in person before agreeing to this level of funding for an under-utilized course. Topic tabled to November meeting.
8. Open Q&A
• Continuing Member Rewards program?
o We are planning on discontinuing this program due to a lack of interest and the difficulty involved with tracking work efficiently without reporting.
• Channahon water issues
o Work is on hold waiting for Forest Preserve approval

● Tuesday Nights at 7pm. (registration opens at 6pm)
● Duration: 19 weeks(through March)
● Weekly donations will be collected for Ice Bowl and propane
● Donations for Ice Bowl presented at the end of the putting season.
4. 2019 J-Town Ice Bowl
● Proceeds will go to Salvation Army
● Hole sponsorships set at $20 per hole
● Raffle (need to drum up some items for raffle)
5. Round Barn Signs
● Thor was not present, therefore item was pushed to our next meeting’s agenda.

• Upper division will continue as it has been popular amongst those that know about it and understand its reasoning. More advertising/ education is needed for it to draw more players.
