Advanced division totals

No changes to Pro, AGM, GM, or the Women's divisions.

Advanced points:

1.)   Jon Boster – 175
2.)   Jason Riley – 145
3.)   Ben Carrescia – 110
4.)   Elmer Mueller - 91
5.)   Steven Jacobs – 90
6.)   Jeremy Buzea – 75
7.)   Kyle Chapman – 65
8.)   Mike Conlee – 65
9.)   Kenny Glassman – 65
10.)   Matt Travis – 60
11.)   Michael Austin – 55
12.)   Matt Preston – 55
13.)   Kris Linscott – 50
14.)   Nathan Nelson – 50
15.)   Keith Kowalczyk – 45
16.)   Ryan Gavrick – 45
17.)   Zach Zandstra – 45
18.)   Tafe Hemler – 45
19.)   Lee Nusbaum – 35
20.)   Anthony Ippolito – 30
21.)   Mike Sale – 30
22.)   Ryan Buikema – 30
23.)   Scott Murphy – 20
24.)   Brett Lakin – 15
25.)   Scott Slugarski – 10
26.)   Du Zandstra – 5

A wide spread of points thru the top three of Jon Boster, Jason Riley, and Ben Carrescia. Looks like the 16th spot in Advanced could be highly contested. The difference in points between 6th and 18th is only 30 points. With 16th place at 45 points, anyone could still get in the finals.

6.)   Jacob Burton – 142
7.)   Matt Walter – 132
8.)   Justin Teller – 108
9.)   Aris Pashos - 106
10.)   Jesse Tackett – 104

Randy Moore Sr. has been on a tear all year long. Sitting 52 points above second place, his lead is nearly insurmountable. But can he win 5 match play rounds in a row to bring it home? This Intermediate field looks very tight, with the difference between 12th and 22nd being only 20 points, anything can happen.

Final points totals after The Wild West
« Reply #20 on: September 07, 2011, 09:10:56 AM »
Points are up for The Wild West, and I've compiled the totals and listed them in the posts below. My apologies if I spelled anyone's name incorrectly.....I was up pretty late making these lists. So if I butchered anyone's name, please let me know and I'll edit out the mistakes.

Invites for the AC Match Play tournament will be put in a separate post later today or tomorrow, along with more details on the format.

Intermediate update
« Reply #23 on: September 07, 2011, 09:15:40 AM »
A lot of movement on the Intermediate list. Randy still commands a huge lead over the field, and won't have to meet the second place finisher until the final round, if at all. Jacob Burton, and Aris Pashos (among others) bring a lot of points from lower divisions earlier in the year, and by playing multiple days at many of the tournaments. Let's see how that strategy pays off during match play. Will they be overmatched? Or are their skills progressing fast enough to beat the rest of the pack?

Int points:

1.)   Randy Moore Sr. – 352
2.)   Jacob Burton - 284
3.)   Kester Jeffers – 260
4.)   John Marren – 248

AC Finals - invites and signup
« Reply #28 on: September 07, 2011, 12:59:06 PM »
There are several discrepencies at the bottom of the invite lists which I hope will be eliminated when one of the spots in that division fails to fill, either because the player is out of town, or lack of funds/interest for this tournament. If that fails to happen, then we may need to have a playoff for the last spot between the following players who are tied in points:

MPO:

Kris Hutter
Clayton Drake

Recreational:

Matt Jakusz
Chris Anderson

Novice:

Alex Africa
Danny Cardwell
Aaron Studer

Anyone I've listed above with a discrepency, may sign up immediately. All first alternates are welcome to do so as well. If we can't put you in a spot, we will refund the money.

Catching some discrepencies with the divisions players are assigned to, as I'm going thru trying to find everyone's email address and phone numbers. I will post the corrections all at once as soon as I am done.
