Current courses to avoid due to conditions or flooding
« on: April 26, 2013, 03:40:12 PM »
I am planning to come to Joliet tomorrow(from Milwaukee) to hit up some courses and am unfamiliar with any of the courses and their current conditions. Are there any courses that are technically "CLOSED"? How many and which ones are flooded? Are there any courses in the area that are in good to decent condition?

Any help would be appreciated.

Mike, the only course that is technically closed, and still unplayable, is Community Park in Channahon. West Park, I think, still has some holes that are a bit flooded (11, 3, and 5 - not sure if the water has gone down yet), but the remainder of our courses are in good condition. Our friend Thor has a tournament going this Sunday and Trinity Links DGC. If you can't hit the tournament, I recommend hitting Highland (Pilcher Park) or Shorewood Park.
