NEXT WEEK START TIME IS 5:15!

45 Players
PRO/ADV 20  AM/NOV  25

TOP THREE
PRO/ADV
We had a tie for first place with the teams shooting great rounds of 41 (-13). Ryan Gremillion & Matt Coyne win the ctp playoff to capture the top honors. They tack on 4 huge points to their point totals and split 108 bucks. In the last three weeks Matt has a second place finish and two first place finishes. These wins have catapulted him near the top of the points list for the second half. He is making a big time charge with only four weeks left. With this win, Ryan has also put himself near the top giving him a chance for a top four finish for the second half. He has also positioned himself nicely to take a trophy in the overall category. Al Hermosillo & Dave Kociuba take the second spot for the night giving them 60 bucks to split. This is a huge second place finish for Al because it has put him in sole position of third place for the second half and overall. It also moves Dave up to give him a great chance for a top four spot for the second half. Dave also creeps up the overall list and slowly takes down his rivals. We had a tie for third place with the teams shooting good rounds of 44 (-10). Mick McGowan & Bryan Marcotte win the ctp playoff on hole 4 to take the honors. They end up taking home $16 each. Bryan moves himself into striking distance for a top four spot this second half. He also slowly moves up the overall list giving himself a chance for a trophy.

TOP THREE
AM/NOV

Jason Riley & Matt Preston shoot a fantastic 41 (-13) to destroy the Am field by three strokes and tie the open winners. They take the top honors for the night and end up splitting 62 bucks. Jason & Matt also tack on four huge points to their totals. With this win Jason has probably just wrapped up the triple crown which consists of winning the first half, second half and overall categories in one year. Very few players have ever done this. Matt Preston has been very steady all year and he has just opened up a significant lead for second place for this second half. With only four weeks left Matt has also opened up a huge one point advantage for third place in the overall category. Dennis Plewa & Anthony K take second place shooting a very good round of 44 (-10). They take home $16.50 each. Dennis has moved up into a tie for third for the second half with this third place finish. Jason Smith & Eric Fite end up shooting a 46 (-8) to take third place. They split 20 bucks for the night. With this finish Jason barely holds on to third place for the second half and second place overall.

Thanks to my wife for checking her face Book!  She saw a note from Sr. regarding last night of League's at J-Town.  Shorewood was the venue and I was able to duck out early and attend.  First of all thanks Sr.,  you introduced me to the game and bringing Kyle and Jake was the coolest and a common thing.  The other thing I would like to bring up Again is the Huge job J-Town does for Disc Golf in general.  From experience I know how hard it is to run these functions in a small venue we have at FVMDGC.  Your Rep's are pulling in 80 golfers and I am amazed at the smooth check ins and program that compares to a tournament every week.  The only thing I noticed was that there where some that do not understand how much work and commitment goes into what you provide.  In closing I would like to ask of the great disc golfrers I have met to please shake hands and thank the providers of the programs you are provided.  Volunteerism is great, a thanks is priceless. J-Town Rocks.  Apprecite the hospitality.  Blaine

Congrat's Jason and what a great battle my friend!
