Ill. State clean up
« on: June 19, 2013, 07:28:34 AM »
Hey Jesse, it's getting to that time of year again. I'm going to start July 2nd, only because I'll be in the area that day. We had tags there last night & phew!, a lot of work is needed. I guess, like last year, you'll put out the word & start on a Saturday.

Shawn Harmon & Hutter were out cleaning Highland today. I hope to meet Shawn there tomorrow. Post if you can help out. I know it's short notice, but I'm just asking.

Shawn, Hutter, & myself were out at Highland today. We're coming along nicely. At the rate it's going, depending how clean we want it, it will be ready for State. One detail is the erosion on the stairs. Then, the alternate holes will need work. We still need help, bigger things are the hill on #16 & lower #15.

Thanks for all the great help.

I started the alternates yesterday afternoon and it’s going to take some work cutting through the weeds and grass behind the Belmont Pavilion.

Next Sunday July 14 will be a clean up day at Highland. If you want to volunteer please bring weed whackers, lawn mowers, tree clippers or anything else you think might help. I will be out around 8:00 am. I’ll have garbage bags and drinks in a cooler by the parking lot near hole 10. If we are already out, there will be a board with stuff to do. Mark your name next to what you’re working on so others can start somewhere else.

Post your name if you know you can make it.

I can not make it Sunday. I'll be there tomorrow, Tuesday around noon, working on #4 or #15. Probably another day this week & Saturday. You need to bring your own tools.

I'm meeting Gary, Sat. July 13, 9:00am at Belmont. So far Shawn & Kris are planning to be there. Hopefully Shawn doesn't have to work. What's left on #15 is picking up the cut wood. Hope to see you Saturday.

Tuesday, July 16, about 10:30am, will be the next day for me. My priority is behind the pavilion at Belmont, the temp holes. It's a little over half done. Some help would be nice.

I'll be at Highland tomorrow the 24th, some things are spreading screening on the temp tees, some weed whacking, a  general clean up. Dana has been doing that, & Chris is coming out with a bags tomorrow. Jesse thinks it's going to be a full house,  it would be nice to get that place sparkling. I know many have been out & not been mentioned, that's huge!!! It yells volumes that J-Town is so united & bonded. We have a super class of Disc Golfers!!!
