WEEK 1 - April 12, 2017
First Half #1
The Round Barn-Manhattan, IL

TEES
Women All Silver - Par 54
Pro/Adv All Reds except hole 5 - Par 54
Am/Nov All Reds except holes 4&5 - Par 54

CONDITIONS
The night started out at around 65 degrees with clear skies and fairly calm winds. As the round began the winds from the NE picked up with gusts into the 20 mph range, causing havoc on the water holes. The temperature dropped into the low 50s by the end of the night making it a chilly ending. The course is pretty much dried out and in great shape. It was a great night to start the season..

NEW WOMENS DIVISION
This year will have an all womens division. We will keep points the same way as the other divisions. We will have one first half winner, one second half winner and one overall winner. We had four women the first week and we hope more women will come out throughout the year. Please spread the word.

NOTES
• It was great to see everyone again. We had many new faces that we hope will continue to show up each week. We also hope that the familiar faces that weren’t there will make their way back and be part of this year’s league.
We miss you!

• Please don’t be discouraged if you’re an AM and had a rough first night. Shake it off and try again next week. The more you play and learn from the league’s more advanced players the better your game will evolve. We’ve all been through this stage. We’ll see you next week.

• Bree “Breezy” McDonald and Brooklyn “Kid Crush” Odrowski take first place in the all new women’s division, by shooting a fantastic round of 53 (-1). Great shooting ladies!

• Al “Lefty” Hermosillo and Steve “Briggs St.” Rachan shoot a ridiculous 40 (-14) to easily clam the first night of 2017’s Pro/Adv Division. Considering the winds their round was extremely impressive. They make the first big jump on the leader board!

• Kevin “The Kollector” Keating and Tyler “Ty-Won” Wollenberg put an old fashion whipping on the Am/Nov field. They won by 3-strokes shooting a fantastic round of 45 (-9) . They claim the first night of the 2017’s Am/Nov Division. Great shooting guys!

• Shout out to the Taco Lady for feeding us after the round.

• Good luck to the locals are playing The Rumble this weekend in Moline.
