Tom Wherli – Ashley Whippet Museum – Naperville’s Last Fling

If you haven’t seen dogs catching Frisbees live you need to. Tom Wherli is one of the best and he is from Naperville. Although Tom’s passion is the Disc Dog world he is extremely knowledgeable in all the discs sports. He is one of those guys can listen to for hours as he talks about the histories of all the flying disc sports.
He will be at the Naperville’s Last Fling judging the competition. Check out link for all the details.

His Ashley Whippet Museum is unreal! It’s in his basement and he has a ton of collectable Disc Golf stuff too. Check this link out. I also attached some photos.

Courses / Highland Park Work Day July 5
« on: June 29, 2015, 06:29:26 AM »
Getting ready for IL State!

Work day on this Sunday July 5.
The rain and the growth is making Highland a complete jungle. Bring your weed eaters, mowers, loppers, pruners, tree pruners or anything else that might work on cutting. Chainsaws for some down trees would also help. We also need garbage removal. We will have to bring some cans out to the curbs so they can take them or fill garbage bags up from the cans and bring them to the curb. The cut out area by Hole 9 is a good spot. I tried cleaning hole 12 but it’s a mess. If you want to help that’s great even if it’s an hour, I’ll be out there by 8:00 am. I’ll be out there a few days this week so I should have a better idea on what’s left to do on Sunday morning. F THE RAIN!
Please pass this along.
Thanks!

Leagues & Tourneys / Knoch Knolls Grand Opening
« on: May 21, 2015, 05:31:19 AM »
We have a Course Grand opening set for June 27 at 11 am. The park is giving out 100 free discs & putting for pies. New redesign was put in this week at Knoch which is a lot better. The old 9 are totally gone, tees moved to new locations all groomed and flush to ground now with sod, new basket locations on several of the new 9, and several all new holes.  I'm thinking of having a best shot with pro/advanced division 9 am. Pass the word at Jtown,
Be there, or be square!
