I think the Roc's have it!

I would still use my Buzz SS too, though.

Woh...Mr. Frank Grimes isn't on the list!

Please add Frank - not only does he put his time, money, and sweat into beautiful Channy, he is a fantastic person all around. He is battling cancer but still does what he does. He makes an effort to befriend new people and make them feel extremely welcome. If it wouldn't have been for Frank's outward show of support, I don't think I would have had near as much motivation to continue to improve and keep playing the singles league.

Frank, you have my vote, sir!

Yeah, you can sit down and putt while you nurse that sprained ankle!

That's not the real reason I replied, but it was a close second!

I just bought 4 identical Discraft Soft Banger GT's - same weight. I read a putting article in disc golfer that explained the concept of practicing continually with a bunch of identical discs, and preferably, identical discs to the one you want to putt with in game.

And yeah, didn't do so hot in the tournament in Fort Wayne IN this weekend...did decent for my level and time playing, and it wasn't last, but I wasn't happy with a +11 round 1 and a +12 on round 2 (albeit, round 2 course was tougher and longer holes).

Very challenging course...not for the faint of heart! I would be embarrassed of my card if I played that course again, so if I don't go to Indiana this weekend, I'll make an effort to get out there and help out.

Great big thank you to everyone who worked so hard to make the 30th Illinois State Champhionship such an awesome event! I had an awesome time and I greatly appreciate everyone's efforts!!!

Are those course Par 4's, or event par 4's because of the length?
They are par 4s because of length/difficulty.  That's the score we expect the average player to get on that hole.  If you look at the last page of the course booklet, you will see a difficulty rating for each hole.  That's the difficulty of achieving that par based on the results of the last tournament we hosted using this layout (1 being the most difficult hole to get par on, 20 being the easiest).

Thanks for the explanation. I figured that was the intent, but wanted to make sure.

If you're planning on playing Sunday you might want to preregister today.
There are only 18 spots left as of this morning.

This is going to be a fantastic turn out!

Wow, this is definitely for the advanced players! Good luck guys!

I like the location of the white tees. I am just getting started, yet it is awesome to practice getting a disc to anhyzer into one of the openings. As a matter of fact, it's one of my favorite holes and tee locations. Again, I'm new to the sport, so I don't have much experience with a whole lot of courses, but I think it's a well designed hole for the whites (not so much for the red, though).

Thanks for the maps, Jesse! Even though I know the course pretty decent by now, it will be very nice to carry this map and ensure I know all the boundaries and OB's.

More good news! I wasn't going to post anything, but after talking to Randy, & then confirmed from Jesse & Jason, I decided to post.  My PSA is not detectable! That's huge! In this process, I meet with numerous Doctors & nurses. I met with the radiologist Friday 06/22/12 & also learned my last hormone implant will be August 29th 2012. Huge!  That will be two years after my last radiation treatment. I meet with the GU Dr. July 6th, but I don't think it will be news worthy.

That is fantastic!
