Patrick just saw this post and feel bad I missed it. every week I go around and play a course with garbage bags and pick up as much as I can. I do this with a few other guys and if more people did it the parks would always look nice
Frank I have been saying this for a year now... I know Jesse and Mickey mouse have been giving money to Gary for the basket fund for four or five years now I am guessing.. you would hope that the basket fund has close to 3k in it and would need to raise another 7k... it is a challenge but if people like Harmon want to buy a basket for that sponsored hole they need to buy the baskets in sync and not have four different types of baskets... or just learn to putt like Frank and you dont' have to worry about the baskets
close to my house so I have been playing it a lot.. it is on county line road about 1.8 miles up on the east side of the road... Katherine legge park I believe.. It is on park district property. It is a nice course... reminds me of a better Mokena... short holes mixed with skilled shots.... hills lots of rolling hills.. I like it frank
you can buy glo discs or I sell LED lights as part of the fundraiser..... usually 3 for 10 but I was told I was getting a better deal this next order so we shall see..... Either way come on out and bring your friends
Trinity Links Glo Tournament is pushed back to November 17th. but it is ok because Dana is having a sweet tourney that weekend at pine hills ( NOVEMBER 3rd and 4th). Trinity will have the glo doubles tournament and a fire or three that night. I am looking for input on if it should be bring your own partner or random draw. I will leave it up to the people who are coming to make that decision so vote on this thread. Prices for Open players will be $ 30 Prices for am players will be $ 25 This is the big fundraiser that really helps get work done at Trinity and paid for the tools that got so many of your discs out of the shed. Man or Woman up and dress warm and come support the course. Lets together make this course better and better every year. We need to raise money to focus on the pond and cleaning it up and maybe a few more tee pads to add pro tee's to holes with out them. I will give out more info soon about start time and format. OK so after months of talking about the change. hole 7's basket is officially moved and in the new location. Steve Slater led the way in this make over and with help from Dave K, and Lefty Al and Louise the change is in. The pit by the basket is OB and will always be OB with or with out water. it is going to play tough and will be a par 4... happy playing
