WEEK 24 - September 19, 2012
Second Half #10
Community Park, Channahon

TEES
18 Holes - Par 54 -
Short Tees

CONDITIONS
To start the round the temp was around 70 with blue skies, but we had brutal winds of 20mph coming from the South and gusts up to 30mph. The winds didn’t die down the whole night. The temps dropped to into the mid 60s by the end of the night. It was an extremely tough night but the course looked great.

COMMENTS

• Huge battles and a lot trash talking going on with one week left.

PRO/ADV
•  Tom Matesevac seals the Triple Crown victory with a second place finish last night. Congratulations Tom for a great year! Kris Hutter was the last player to accomplish this very tough task back in 2006.

SECOND HALF
•Eric Fite remains in second by one point with one week left. Dan Oysko remains in third by one point. Al Hermosillo gets a huge win last night to jump into fourth place and only two points out of second. Ryan Gremillion takes second place last night and he now only sits one point out of fourth along side Randy McMurray

OVERALL
• The Battle for second and third continues. Darrin Johnson gets a huge win last night to give him a huge 1.5 point lead for second place. Al Hermosillo also jumps into a tie for third with Dan Osysko for the last overall trophy spot. Dave Kociuba gets a huge second place finish last night and he is only one point back. It’s going to be a very intense last week.

AM/NOV
• Kevin Yockman has already won the first half and the overall and he will try to seal the deal next week on the Triple Crown victory.

SECOND HALF
• Kevin Yockman takes third place last night and he moves into sole possession of first place by one point. Kevin Macuiba holds onto second by two points while Jeff Reardon holds onto third by one point. We have a couple of late season charges. Tim Guajardo gets a huge second place night and moves into fourth place and only one point out of third. Ken Hausser is now one point out of fourth. While Joe Kolar gets a huge win last night and now only sits two points out of fourth.

OVERALL
• Kevin Yockman now has wrapped up the first place overall trophy. Congratulations Yockman on your win! Kevin Macuiba wins  the second place overall trophy. Congratulations to Macuiba on your win!  Jeff Reardon sits in third place with a 1.5 point lead over Tim Guajardo. In order for Tim to tie Jeff he would have to win next week and Jeff would have to place out of the top three. It’s going to be a very intense last week.

• We have not had two Triple Crown winners in  the same season since 2005 when Kris Hutter won in the Pro/Adv division and Josh Knight won it in the Am/Nov division.

COMMENTS
•  Tom Matesevac seals the Triple Crown victory with a second place finish last night. Congratulations Tom for a great year! Kris Hutter was the last player to accomplish this very tough task back in 2006.

Huge battles and a lot trash talking going on in these last few weeks.

Pro/Adv Second Half
•Dan Oysko gets a huge second place  finish last night to jump into a tie with Eric Fite for second place.  Eric gets a critical third  place finish last night to remain in a tie for second. They have a three-point lead over fourth place. Right now Clayton Drake sits alone  in fourth but by not showing last night some players have made a slight move on him. Randy McMurray is now only one-point out while Ryan Gremillion & Al Hermosillo are two-points out.

Pro/Adv Overall
• The Battle for second and third continues. Darrin Johnson gets a huge win last night to put him into a tie for second place. Dan Osysko also gets a huge second place finish to remain in a tie for second. They have a pretty big one and a half point lead on  Al Hermosillo who is looking for big wins in the last two weeks of the season.

Am/Nov Second Half
•Kevin Yockman takes second place last night which moves him into a tie for first with Kevin Macuiba. Yockman keeps his hopes alive for the Triple Crown. Jeff Reardon wins last night and he now sits alone in third place, but more importantly he is only two-points out of first. With his third place finish last night Ken Hausser makes a jump into fourth place buy one point. It’s going to be a two week battle with eight players within three-points of that  fourth and last trophy spot.

Am/Nov Overall
• If Kevin Yockman justs shows up for the last two weeks he will clinch first place overall. Kevin Macuiba remains in second with huge pretty big two and a half point lead over third. Jeff Reardon also sits in third with a very comfortable two-point lead over fourth place. Only the top three receive trophies.
