I’ll briefly be in Nashville, Tennessee this weekend and I’ll have time to play one round somewhere. Does anybody have any suggestions on what course I should hit in that area.
Thanks,
Jesse

Frank Grimes - Some of the reasons why he was awarded The Gary Lewis Achievement Award.

Raised over $3500 for Morning Star Mission at the J-Town Ice Bowl
http://www.morningstarmission.org/

Busted ass all year while battling cancer to continually make Community Park one of the most friendly and beautiful places to play disc golf. The amount of time and hard work that he puts into this course is breathtaking.

Community Park in Channahon was in immaculate condition for all  5 tournaments held there in 2010
The List:
J-Town Ice Bowl • Feb. 27, 2010
The Dave Pitner Memorial • May 1 & 2, 2010
Chain Reaction 2010 • June 26 & 27, 2010
2010 J-Town Disc Golf Club Invitational • July 9, 2010
23rd Channahon Classic • September 25 & 26, 2010

Vice President of the J-Town Disc Golf Club
http://jtowndiscgolf.com/SMF1/index.php?topic=8.0

One of the founders of the Frank & Bean’s Handicap League.

Worked extremely hard on getting Highland Park into shape for IL State. Concrete work, stump removal, garbage pick-up, and hours of weed whacking including a couple of hours in the morning before he played in the tournament.

He worked anywhere and everywhere when he was called upon.

Sorry Paco that this wasn’t mentioned at the ceremony.

Please feel free to elaborate on anything that was missed or something you feel should be mentioned about Frank.

Hole 9 is mine Grimes, now take your Italian Sausage fingers off of it. All i want from you is about a couple thousand rocks to line both sides of the fairway. Then clear out about another 75 feet behind and slightly to the right of current basket, and build around a 20 ft mound to put the basket on top of. After you do all that put my name on it, oh and by the way thanks in advance. One last request i forgot about frank. The large tree just left and in front of the tee that blocks big anhyzer shots, i need that removed. Twenty years ago that thing was the size of a 5 ft bush and was quite easy to throw over. I hope your passion can accomodate my needs brother, otherwise i'll have to find someone else to do all the work so i can take ownership of my hole. Let me know how long this will all take, i was thinking you could have all this done by thanksgiving.
You crack me up Flash. What I'll do is put thay on the to do list. Short term I'll make a sign & stick it in the ground with your name on it. I'll stick it on the right of the short tee pad. We have to think of a name, it used to be Harmon's Hill.

I got  it.

One of the holes at Channahon was named after him similar to Highland Park's holes  All the holes at Channahon were named after local players with big wooden plaques hanging in trees. Does anybody remember what hole Dennis had and what it was called?

Holes 10 & 11 were called  “The Flatts” and the sign was on hole 10.
