It’ great to see my nephew step up and help the disc golf community. On September 28 our last Wed league night we can also show up early and pick up garbage during practice.  I’ll probably do that anyway.

WEEK 23 - September 7, 2011
Second Half #10
Highland Park - Joliet, Illinois
18 Holes - Short (Red) Tees - Par 54

CONDITIONS
Temperature was in the high 60s to low 70s sunny, cool and very windy.  Overall a very nice day. The red tee pads limestone were a little tough at times to through from.

Thanks Tracy Kenner for sorting the money.

TOP THREE
PRO/ADV
Al Hermosillo & Tom Matesevac shoot a great round of 40 (-14) to take the top honors for the night. They end up taking home 58 bucks each. Al catapults into a four way tie for second for the second half and he jumps up three spots to a fifth place tie in the overall standings. Tom also keeps his hopes alive in both categories jumping a few spots. Jesse Saenz & Clayton Drake shoot a very nice round of 42 (-12) to take the second place finish and they split 72 bucks. Clayton climbs up into a four way tie for second in the second half standings. Jarolsav Neyhba & Brian Kevish  tie for third and win the ctp playoff on hole 10. They end up splitting $42 and tack on a hug two points to their totals. JR moves up into a four way tie for second in the second half and keeps himself alive in the overall. Monk keeps himself alive for the second half and puts himself into a tie for fourth for overall. He's in striking distance for that last overall trophy.


TOP THREE
AM/NOV
We had tie for first with teams shooting nice rounds of 46 (-8). Joe  Ward & Randy McMurray win the playoff to take the top honors and take home 31 bucks each. Randy jumps into third place for the second half and he jumps one spot up into second place overall in striking distance of first. Joe keeps his hopes alive by jumping into sixth place for the second half. He is only two points out of the fourth and last cash spot. Kester Jeffers & Brian Cantrell take second and split 33 bucks. Brian keeps his hopes alive for the second half standings. Cory Clements & Rich Cnyder shoot a 47 (-7) to take third place and split $20. Cory continues his hunt for first place for the second half by closing the gap to only two points. He is also in third place overall with a three point lead.
