hey everyone... someone stole my dyed champ boss at highland park on hole nine... I put it out just past the trees and the car stopped and grabbed it and drove off... I tried to throw a rock at the car but I was about 200 feet short... should have thrown a disc.... If anyone sees a blue blazer extreme or knows who is a disc golfer and drives this blazer let me know.. I would like to talk to this person... I will give someone ten bucks for this disc back.. thanks thor
Hey everyone.. Trinity Lake Open is June 11th at Trinity Links in Lockport Il.... The course is under going a lot of changes and this tournament is going to be the first glimpse of some of the new layouts.... All open players are $40.00 and all Ams are $30.00... am divisions are advanced, intermediate and rec... the Format is going to be one round from the longs and one round from the short pads. Register on line at the pdga webpage or the day of. registration starts at 7:30 and will close are 8:45 am. Tee off will be at 9:15 and I am pretty on top of getting everyone going and sounding the horn at 9:15.. If you want to sponsor a hole you can sponsor a hole starting at $10.00 and you can donate more if you want. If you have any questions ask Thor or Tom M.... we are looking to have this club Challenge on March 5th in the Fox Valley area. here is what the lay out is going to look like.
-$5 entry; winning team takes all -2 rounds -1st round singles worth 1 point a match. Ties give 1/2 a point -2nd round doubles worth 2 points a match ties give 1 point each tem -max of 12 players per team -each team will have same number of players per round for points although more may come out and play for fun. matchups will be chosen by club captains
If you are interested in playing you need to reply to this post, anyone who doesn't reply to the post or doesn't get a hold of me during prior to the event will not play for points. you can play for fun but you won't be considered part of the Club Challenge. Everyone that is participating in this Challenge must be a current J Town member. hey everyone The Pdga webpage is now taking on line registration for the Second annual J town Ice Bowl. Register on line if you can. There is a ten dollar fee day of registration donated to the Morning Star Mission and there is also a five dollar fee if you do not bring at least two canned good items to donate to Morning Star Mission. All proceeds will go to Morning Star Mission. So get on line and register for this great event thanks Thor

Hey everyone Tom is going to be running the pro side and I will be running the Ams side... For the ams it will be $25 and another $5 for ace and ctp's. One round from the longs and one round from the shorts. Registration from 8:00 am until 9:30 and players meeting at 9:45. Tee off time will be at Ten.... Ok. Randy Sr had a great Idea and is working on getting a tournament on a ball golf course. Dana is most likely going to be designing this course when he gets back into town. We need 50 people to sign up or commit to playing this tournament. The details are still fuzzy since this is still coming together but this would be an awesome course to play. if you are interested in playing respond to this post and if you have any ideas again respond to this post and let us know your thoughts... Ok. So everyone keeps asking when I am going to put cement tee pads in and to be honest.. when I raise enough money they will be put in. I am pretty sure after this fundraiser I should have enough money if the same people or more keep coming out. This Year I am going to do it a little different. If you preregister at the picnic or at the tournament on October 30th that Randy Sr is putting together you will get a free glo disc at the tournament. If you don't pre reg I will give you a mini and a poster.. the price this year is going to be $25.00 for registration and then I will do 3 ctp,s and an ace fund for $5.00... All money goes to Trinity Services, Inc and that will be the money used for Tee Pads.... If you are writing a check please make it out to Trinity Services, Inc...

So I am having this thought that J Town should have an Ace Race.... I have looked into it and basically the cost of the tourney is 25 - 30 dollars... everyone will get a brand new disc and play with that disc only.... The top three events will get a basket from Discraft. The winner of the ace race will get a grand prize of a new bag and 8 new discs from Discraft. Let me know what everyones thoughts are. This is a good way we can Raise money for J town disc golf club..... we bring out all of our members and I think we will be a hard event to beat..... Good Chat See ya out there thor
Everyone coming out to Trinity Links tomorrow. The course is looking really good. There will be a new 17 out there tomorrow so everyone has a heads up. Hey everyone. This Saturday I will be having a two round tourney.. Registration starts at 3:00 and the first round will start at five. the second round will start one hour after the first round ends. I am guessing it will be between 8:30 and 9:00.. I have glow sticks, LED lights, and LED button Lights. Trophies will go out to first place only. I hope to see a lot of you out there. Hey the PDGA on line registration for this tournament is now open. Anyone who wants to register on line can do so now. the day of the tournament on August 7th,2010 the registration will open at 3:00 pm with the players meeting at four forty five and the first round to start at five. the second round will be a glo round from the shorts. Pro is $45 and the Ams are $35 (ma1,ma2,ma3).. trophies for first place and payouts for top 1/3 of field. if you have any questions hit me up at league or message me. Hey Everyone This year I wanted to run a sanctioned tournament out at Trinity Links in Lockport. I am sure everyone reading this has been there a time or two. The tournament will start at 4:45 on Saturday evening and everyone will play the long tees. the second round will be played from the shorts and it will be a glow round. I will be selling LED glow sticks and regular glow sticks and I will also provide a microwave to heat up the regular glow sticks. (don't' ask me why but it just makes them glow brighter and longer) The tourney is on the PDGA webpage and you can start to preregister with me after Illinois State is over. ok here it is.... I am trying to get a sanctioned glow in the dark tournament going. I have talked to a few people and a b tier would consist of a one round from the long tee pads.... and one round of shorts during the day and a third round at night... or a c tier and have one round of longs during the day and shorts at night.... all rounds at Trinity Links august 7th or 8th would be the dates I would have this... does anyone know of other tournaments in the area or ideas for this tourney. please let me know thor
