I am looking for a place to stay in Rochester Minnesota close to Mayo Clinic. The dates I need are from March 2nd thru March 24th. I am looking forward to starting a better quality of life. It's the light at the end of the tunnel I have been looking for the last 4 years. Thank You from the bottom of my heart to all of you who have supported me through my struggles. J-Town always makes me feel welcome.

                                     :)

I will have to say that I love being the bug. Frank deserved it. If being the bug is spending the afternoon with great people, I will be the bug every day! Couldn't touch flash today he was on. Frank got some tips today that made those drives pretty impressive. January 1st Frankie is all I can say! lol lol

Lost & Found / Re: Lost at Highland
« on: December 03, 2010, 01:59:24 AM »
I lost a stained wooden mini with a Dancing Bear engraved in it. It was lost on hole #2 about 40 feet out at the 4 or 5 oclock position facing basket. That mini is special to me and I will reward the finder with a choice of disc or a nice steak dinner! Please post if found.

                     Thanks,  Sr.
Tell your friend thanks Cory! I'm bringing some discs Sunday for you to choose from for your reward. I'll be there around 10 or so. Getting this back is pretty sweet stuff!
                     :)

I loved Golden Gate Park in California. Not much elevation but a pretty good layout with the woods. The smell from the pines and looks of this park are awesome and next to none. Saw a peak of Golden Gate bridge from a tee. The way it's surrounded by the City is neat. Birdied the first hole right off the plane and had a four stroke lead but Junior came back to beat me by one.

                   STAFFORD LAKE COUNTY PARK
Juniors town is on Highway 101 so on the way back from San Fransisco we stopped at this gem of a course for a round. WOW! Randy only golfed it once before and got 2 awesome pictures of a mountain lion. There are signs warning you. Best course I ever played. Elevation was unreal and this course has about 3 different tee placements for every hole. Probably the most challenging course I will ever play. You have to rest before half of your shots because of the climb. The first hole was about 600 feet straight up the mountain. I banged a 80 footer for par and Junior bogied. As usual I got beat up by the pro in this one. The course ate me up but Junior shot about +5 . That's good! The views of the mountains and the layout is fabulous! If your ever out on Highway 101 in California, stop at Novato and play this course. Then go North to the Ave. of the Giants. The biggest Redwoods I have ever seen! What a blast these courses were!

Played 2 rounds with Flash and Frank at Eagle Ridge. Lost first round to Flash by one stroke. Then beat Flash by 4 strokes second round shooting a -8.

Franks achievements were not only in the J-Town area. Frank managed to venture off to Eagle Ridge Park in Oswego and put in some high quality tee boxes and to be chased around by the Park District for removing stumps lol lol. So glad to see such positive results for you Frank.

                             Positive, positive, positive!

                                            :)

After 5 rounds at Eagle Ridge Flash finally made a bogey on hole #14. Playing bogey free for 1 round at the Eagle is hard. Great shooting Joe!

I beat Flash 2 holes in a row though!
                              :)

Going to go play this course and called up Jon to get some info on the course. Found out they are working on getting another course in so they can be in contention for 2013 Worlds. They would play the 4 courses at Lemon Lake and the two at Rogers Lakewood. Looking forward to playing this course!

Hole 9 is mine Grimes, now take your Italian Sausage fingers off of it. All i want from you is about a couple thousand rocks to line both sides of the fairway. Then clear out about another 75 feet behind and slightly to the right of current basket, and build around a 20 ft mound to put the basket on top of. After you do all that put my name on it, oh and by the way thanks in advance. One last request i forgot about frank. The large tree just left and in front of the tee that blocks big anhyzer shots, i need that removed. Twenty years ago that thing was the size of a 5 ft bush and was quite easy to throw over. I hope your passion can accomodate my needs brother, otherwise i'll have to find someone else to do all the work so i can take ownership of my hole. Let me know how long this will all take, i was thinking you could have all this done by thanksgiving.
You crack me up Flash. What I'll do is put thay on the to do list. Short term I'll make a sign & stick it in the ground with your name on it. I'll stick it on the right of the short tee pad. We have to think of a name, it used to be Harmon's Hill.

I got  it.
