A side note first, I'm looking at the posts & it seems I own this part of the message board. Well here's another one, a thank you.
Thanks to you how ever you were involved. Like I already said the goal is to raise money (fundraiser). To have a tournament you need players & that raises money. Not all that give, give money, therefore the raffle & that raises money.
Just so you know,I have had NO connection with the Mission before last year. It started with supporting with the Northern Illinois Food Bank. My comment to that is the locals may not be familiar with that name. I knew Morning Star is a brand name in Joliet & it may be easier, with that thought, to get donations. I think it was true, we'd have $300.00 maybe. I don't think anyone in Joliet knows about Northern Illinois Food Bank.
