Help!!!
« on: November 01, 2010, 07:56:04 PM »
I'm not sure if this is the best sight to ask for help......we'll see. I'm attempting to disassemble the timbers on #2 at Channahon tomorrow. What needs to be done is setting the 6" x 8" x 16' timbers on anchor bolts. The problem comes with setting the timbers directly over the bolts. They can't be dragged or it will bend the bolts. What we need to do is pick up the timbers & set them directly over the bolts. Eight people would be nice but I think we can do it with six. Please pass it on to someone that will be willing to help, maybe Wednesday or Thursday. I think it's going to take most of the day to take them apart. they were put together not to come apart, like the baskets.

I forgot about you dp. Expect a call. My hands have not adapted to the chilly morning yet. Maybe 10:00-10:30. Anyone else? I know Jason Poole will help later in the afternoon. I just need one more for a morning installation. The timbers are very dry & not as heavy when they were new. Just trying to get a couple things done for the 1st day of winter league.

Well........ I was mistaken, I thought it would take at least three people to set the timbers. I only called once & nobody showed up. The army of one got er dun! The hard part, the bottom row, I made time to play in the afternoon.
