I had planned to have Adv. and Pro play the blue tees at Highland, and the longs at Trinity. With that being the case, it's better to keep the other Ams separate from the Adv/Pro divisions for safety reasons.
I'll look at the field on Sunday though, and if I feel it doesn't make any sense to stay separate, then I may put the whole field together, but all on the shorts at Trinity, and White tees at Highland.
Aw, bollocks to that! I really want to play the longs. How much of a safety issue could it be? I think we can handle it. Just have to warn the card behind the long tee players and send out a spotter from the card to keep someone from walking in front. It should only come into play at #13 Lockport, and #'s 11, 12 and 15 at Highland. Everhthing else is pretty obvious if people are playing longs, yeah? Just a thought.
If anyone is playing tonight and is also planning on attending Deuces Wild on Sunday, I'd appreciate it if you could get my J-town tag from Dave K. (35, I think). Otherwise I should be able to get it at IL States. Thanx.
Since the majority of Pro's will probably be in IN, any chance with a low turnout we might just all play the same locations? Just a car or two heading to Highland in the morning seems a little weird.
I love my boy Dan P. I didn't see hide nor hair of him on Sun., anytime. Wut up wit dat? I know you have obligations on a Sun., Dan, How 'bout an assistant? I'd love to see your stuff, on days I play!!!
The course kicked my booty! I know I said I was going to do bagtags, but when my ride showed up, I couldn't make him wait for the cards to get in. Sorry about that. If anyone grabbed mine, I'll be at Whet up or Shut up on Sat. if you can bring it, Thanks.
I've heard of some/most/all of the course changes. Are they going to be marked for practice purposes? I'm thinking of getting out tomorrow/Wed. or Thur. Maybe flags or painted? Thanks.
All I can really say about Memorial Day is whether you agree with the politics that got us into certain conflicts or not, you have to respect the people that gave their lives. Respect is also due to those that put their lives in harm's way.
My father is a veteran of WWII, Korea and Vietnam. In WWII he was on a destroyer in the Pacific. In Korea, he was on various assignments. In Vietnam, he began as Commander of VA 212, flying A-4 Skyhawks off the Oriskany. By the end, he was the only man to command two separate aircraft carriers, Ticonderoga and Bon Homme Richard.
My brother, Jeff is a retired USMC Colonel. He did various things, and was C.O. of the 1st S.R.I. group sent to Mogadishu during the "BlackHawk Down" incident.
My brother, Carl is a retired Sargeant Major from the Army. His last post was Command Sargeant Major of the Military Police in Seoul, South Korea.
My neice, Joslyn is currently a Captain in the USMC. Her last post was military liason officer to U.S. Senator Dodd. She spent some time in Iraq.
My Dad, Jeff, and Joslyn all are graduates of Annapolis, (three generations of Hemler's!).
If you don't think this effects you, just think; If the Japanese or Germany had won WWII, do you think we'd be playing disc golf now? Unlikely.
Kewl. BTW, YEE-YAH Bitches! (not you Lauren) we be playin' long's!!! Curiously, will you (the club) be covering non PDGA player's fee's? And, this is a great idea. Thanx, J-town.
Hey! Look at that! Read the flyer Alexandre Dum-As, $10 fee required. It's gonna be a scorcher and the bugs are due any day now, be prepared.

Where's check-in? By #9's basket and the parking lot, or where IL state's was by the club? Any Memorial Day grilling or are we on our own for lunch? Just asking. Thanks.
