Forgot what?
My responsibility as I said it was.  It's all good, Frank.
Please make sure my donation is on behalf of the 5th annual Jericho Lake Ice Bowl, not me.  Thanks.

Hopefully, I won't need the hammer as I've got too much stuff to carry around, but I will do what I can.
Thanks again.

I plan on being out there on Thur w/ a shovel, ice tool and some salt to do what I can.  They played leagues there on Sun. and as I understand it, the front nine are in good shape.  So, I'll be working on the back.  We could always use more help if you're offering.

Announcing the FIRST EVER 100/100 CTP Fundraiser!!!
At the 2011 Aurora Ice Bowl I will be running a CTP fundraiser, one disc to be awarded for each round.  $1 per round.
100% of the proceeds will go to the Hesed House.
I will then match 100% of what is pulled in and present it to the J-town Ice Bowl for their charity, Morning Star Mission on behalf of the FVMDGC Ice Bowl.
Depending on which tees are played, I'm thinking hole 12.
The first round disc is yet to be decided, vote for it here; http://foxvalleymetrodiscgolfclub.com/forum/index.php?topic=2118.0
The second round disc will be a 2011 Asia Open Champion Glo Firebird FX, 175 g (the flattest, most over stable Firebird, maybe ever!)
Let's show some inter-club love and support both charities!
I'll see you at BOTH Ice Bowls.
Tafe Hemler

The voting for the first round disc is now over.
It will be a 2003 Holiday Edition 1st run red X Buzzz, 173-4.

So, that means it'll cost you a buck for a chance at winning this sweet disc!
An additional dollar gets you a chance at winning a 2011 Asia Open champ glo Firebird FX, 175!
Your money then magically doubles and goes to both Hesed House and Morning Star Mission.
The CTP will be on hole 12, Jericho Lake (the short turnover/sidearm skip shot) that way everyone has the ability to reach it!
See you there.

I'm changing the weight on the X Buzzz.  From 173-4 to 177+!
I don't want to give away my throwing stock! It's all the same, first run, Holiday red, just 177+!  Enjoy.

PDGA / Re: PDGA Name Change?
« on: January 07, 2011, 10:24:59 AM »
The Disc Golf Association is a trademarked company name.
The USDGA doesn't include the growing European, Japanese or Austrailian markets.
However I do agree it should stay the same.  The Profesional Disc Golf Association just sounds better to potential sponsors and course providers.  Besides that, they talk about the complexity of having a conversation with a newbie and trying to explain that we are not all proffesional.  How much more complex is that conversation when trying to explain two different names for essentially the same organization?  Besides, we ain't all "playa's"!!!
