There were only a few tees that Cory spray-painted a tee pad next to them. 17 is still missing a section of the basket on the back side. It can probably be temporarily fixed with a metal rod and some duct tape.

Course: West Park
Easiest Hole: 13 (2.58 avg)
Hardest Hole: 11 (3.58 avg)
$10 added to the Ace Fund=$28. No Ace was hit, so it will be carried-over to Frank's & Bean's Tuesday Nights starting 4/20/10 @ Trinity Links @ 5:15.
Sorry Frank, Ryan, Ryan, and Larry. I think there was still a mix-up with the distribution of bag tags after I entered the scores into the spreadsheet.
Thanks to Cory Clements who will be continuing the Saturday Bag Tag Challenge next week @ Shorewood.
Hardest hole: #4 avg=5.14
Easiest hole: #6 & #16 avg=2.86
$5 was donated to the Ace Fund which will leave a total of $18 for West Park next week (3/27/10).
Frank’s & Bean’s Tuesday Nights
• Start date: April 20, 2010, Follow the same schedule as the doubles league. Same time and same place as the Wednesday Nights, but on Tuesday.
• $5 entry fee, optional Ace ($1) & CTPs (2-$2/CTP) = $5, CTPs will be designated as Prize Fund & Club Enhancements. The payout will be the top 30% with a minimum of $5 for last cash. $0.50 from each entry fee will pay the hot round of the day.
• Handling of non-rated players: If you do not have a PDGA rating, your first 3 rounds at the handicap leagues will be free to establish your handicap. You will only be allowed to participate in the Ace Fund, CTPs, and Bag Tags (Bag Tags will be determined on the scratch score). Another option to acquire your handicap; if a club officer is willing to play those three rounds outside of league night. After you accumulate more rounds your rating will be taken from your best 3 of your last 5 rounds.
• Frank Grimes and Dean Bingham will be running it.
Thanks, fellas. This is awesome. Shoe, PDGA is mainly used for the rating aspect for this club challenge. It is unsanctioned and for club members only. I should be playing some in the next couple weeks. Send me a personal message if anyone wants to play.
I'm in and will play up if needed. I imagine we will have a harder time filling the upper division.

I'm in for sure...
J Town is looking for members to commit to this event. We will have more details after the meeting tonight. We didn't realize that it is on the last day of winter leagues. I believe we need at least 7 ams and 7 pros minimum. Maybe you don't have much riding on attending the last winter league or maybe you know some people that have hibernated over the winter that wouldn't mind coming out to represent J Town. Send bangham, pooleje, Frankie, or ray hill a personal message or email. Thanks. I, also, believe there is no cost to members besides travel and Ace, 50/50 Funds.
J-Town Disc Golf Club is now included for this event.DISContinuum Club Challenge
Thanks again, to everyone that helped get the ball rolling with the J Town Ice Bowl. I would like to thank everyone that helped make the tournament run smoothly that day. It can get very hectic getting everything setup and expedited quickly to get this done before sundown. Now we know and can do better next time. Thanks Gary Lewis, Mike Kursell, Darren Johnson, Jesse Saenz, Ray Hill, Jason Poole, Sara Ongenae, Nate Winterstein, Terry and the Mission for the food and drinks. Thanks for the shanty Randy. Thanks Lauren for coming out and taking some great pictures as usual. I noticed Pat Johnson out with his video camera. Thanks and hope to see how it turned out. Too bad you walked off by 18 right before Buddy hit 19 & 20 back to back.

Just remember to have fun. There are a lot of holes and 2 rounds. Most tournaments you don't get to see the same holes from the same tee pads in the 2nd round. Pay attention to the wind and keep it simple. Stick to the basics, and what you know works for you. Good luck!
