J-Town Disc Golf Club / Re: Weekly Bag Tag Challenge
« on: September 19, 2014, 06:52:17 AM »
Announcing the return of J-Town Bag Tag Challenge.
We will be back at our original day and time of Saturdays at 10am.
Schedule can be found here.
Results will be posted here.

This season, we will be doing this as a free handicap singles league.  Each week you will receive points based on handicap score.  Tags will still be distributed based on scratch score.  Trophies will be handed out based on total handicap based points for the season.  You can play for FREE each week if you'd like (All-In is $6, which includes 2 CTPs, an Ace Fund, and PDGA Sanctioning).  All players are welcome regardless of skill level.  You do not need to be a PDGA member to participate.

This season will run from 10/18-12/20 skipping the Club Challenge week of 11/1 (9 weeks).

What time will the ropes be up today and do you guys need any help getting them up?

We're starting at around 2:30 today.  We have a small crew lined up but obviously wouldn't refuse any additional help.

11
Online registration closes at 4pm today.

12
I plan on signing up tomorrow for intermediate,  but if the Advanced field is bigger will I be able to change divisions the day of the tourney?

Sure, we can do that.  Just let us know when you sign in Saturday morning.

What number from the list you worked on and the status of that line item (so we know what still needs done).  I'll keep the list updated.

For J-Town members, post the number of hours worked so I can give you credit in our Member Reward Program.

Courses / Re: Dellwood Park Work Hours
« on: May 28, 2014, 07:40:58 PM »
From Facebook (5/27 Sean Callahan):

"Ok its been a couple crazy weeks but we are hitting The Canyons at Dellwood Park really hard this week. We will need volunteers this Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. We are auggering the holes for the sleeves and installing sleeves on Friday. Steve Matul (008) will be out there leading the whole thing and needs as many hands on deck as possible. We will need people to haul away the spoil from the augger on Thursday and help with moving concrete where ever necessary on Friday. I would like to get as many volunteers on Saturday as well, we have many other things to do. I will be out there as soon as Im done with work both days as well. Let me know if you can help out. Thanks!"

"7:30am through the afternoon. Til we're through."
