Big Congrats goes out to Streamwood DGU! Nice shooting!
HUGE thanks to all that came out to support J Town yesterday. I think there were 21 of us??? Maybe 22, I think we had a club member playing for J Town on every card. That is great considering the travel. Thanks to J Town's Captain Dean for getting all the details and making sure everything went smooth. This really was a fun event to play in and I look forward to the next one. Jason Poole and Dean did tags and made sure everything was perfect. Thank you!!
Thanks Mike K for all the scoring details. (owe you a huge bottle of Advil I'm sure) Tom McManus for all the hard work getting the ducks in a row and the invitation to participate. Brett C for being a great State Coordinator and all his hard work. Rich thanks for the pizza and the hospitality...
112 players, 5 different clubs in March says a lot about what all of us are a part of.
BIG THANKS TO THE PLAYERS!!!

that's awesome Mike thanks for everything all you guys are doing to get this up and running. I can't imagine how much you guys are doing and accommodating.
For those of you that are FOR SURE going to play on Sunday we ask that you please confirm with Dean Bingham tonight or ASAP Saturday. (cell: eight one five six five one seven three two seven) Text or a call will do. Please please please confirm with Dean so we know what to expect for Sunday...
looks like you can be placed where ever Mike Krupicka (pickax) puts you in. Maybe contact him and see if he can grant you in the lower division if that's where you feel you belong. This is open for all club members regardless of "rating" Tell him to use our tag challenges as a guide or maybe you have some sanctioned rounds you can point him towards... just an idea, I would hate for you to feel left out is all...
Hope to see you out there...

That's why we affectionately call Channy Frank's house. Frank gives time, blood and sweat to make sure you have that impression of Channy. He is and always will be the man ...
We will be playing 2 rounds of short tees and we are adding 2 extra holes for 20 total.
The tourney that you are referencing played rd 1 shorts plus 3 temp holes for a total of 21 holes. and the second rd was a mix of shorts and longs with 3 extra holes. If you click on the "Course Statistics" in the upper lefthand side of that page it better explains the layout for past events.
everyone here understands your excitement and it's always welcome. The Buzzes Gary picked up are really nice.
As far as a score to shoot for??? I not too good at making guesses like that. Maybe someone else can help me out with that....
Looking forward to Saturday and if you are not preregistered please do so using the link on the homepage... any more question please ask
See you Saturday!!!
So its February 10th, four to six inches of snow, and J Town Disc Golf has just about 120 members! Minus a few here or there, Tags 1-120 have been handed out. (Fear not.. more are on order and should be ready to go ASAP.)
We as board members want to meet and hear from you the members. We need an idea of how many of you would be interested in showing up to a meeting. If you know someone who is electronically challenged, please call them up and ask if they would show. We don't want to over guess, or worse under guess the number of attendees. We really just want to pick the right room size so please reply to this post and give us your feedback... (please don't read this the wrong way, it's a great problem to have )
Another thing is, please offer some expectations from J Town. This forum is for you to throw out ideas and suggestions as to how to grow, and what direction to sail this boat. If you are shy then just shoot me or a board member a private message or email.
email@example.com is the general club email in case you are bashful. We can post your idea for you, nameless.
Let us know...
Thanks for reading!!
