for you history buffs.
In 1916 Legge bought 53 acres (210,000 m2) of land from the Enos M. Barton estate. He started construction on a large house, but had to abandon the project when the U.S. entered into WWI and subsequently banned private building.
damn government intrusion !!!!
thanks for all the effort aces and chains, it cant be easy with retail disc golfers in this economy ,
" If you want to put in Discraft Chainstars, "
if they did Not want them to put in, you could auction them or raffle them off and take the funds and add to the existing basket fund
my course has several types of baskets
1 tri state basket with additional chains
2 innova travelers
1 mach 5 fold down
1 mini basket for minis
1/2 of one ( not sure what type )
1 liberty 24 chain ( thats the nice one )
1 db2 ? bought on craigslist
1 instep with additional chains
what type of basket did Shawn buy ?
just find 17 people who buy the new basket and give them the old basket
the old baskets are antiques , I agree.
I like the challange of the older baskets, most dont feel that way.
I love the cement tees there.
( added , yes I am nuts )

Eleven years ago on September 19, 2001, Matt Lovasko was tragically killed in an accidental fire in his Munster, IN apartment. At the time, Matt was the top rated amateur disc golf player in North America. Because of Matt’s love for the sport, his mother (Charlene Lovasko-Donovan) and step-father (James Donovan) decided that the best way to celebrate Matt's life would be to organize an annual memorial disc golf tournament. At Lemon Lake, we called Matt "HOMIE".
Since the first tournament in 2002, the Matt Lovasko Memorial Disc Golf Tournament also known as "The HOMIE Fall Celebration" has been held at Lemon Lake County Park in Crown Point, IN. This year’s event will be held on Saturday, October 6th for all Juniors, Recreational and Intermediate players and Sunday, October 7th for all Advanced and Pros beginning at 9:00AM. Information on the Tournament can be obtained by contacting Jay Svitko at 219-771-3472 or Brian Cummings at 219-712-6210. As many as 300 players are expected to participate in this year’s event which will feature lots of great food, prizes and fond remembrances of Matt Lovasko. We hope you'll join us this year.
