Shawn McCarthy, my go to guy, is going to help me dig a circle ring around #1 at Channahon Tues. 04/22/14. If you want to jump in, let me know.
I can bring you lunch or buy lunch for you guys my Brother. Not much more I can help with and I have that $20 I forgot about that you kindly lent me at the Ice Bowl.
                                                                                      :)
Huh! Imagine that, totally forgot. Love to see ya, we can talk & supervise Shawn.  ;D Although we haven't talked much, you're in my thoughts every day brother. I think nothing but good & positive about you. Especially when the Hawks are playing.
Totally no, when I found the Ice Bowl Buzz I bought under my seat is when I remembered. Otherwise I still don't remember.  :) I'll bring out some Famous Daves Barbecue for you guys!  :P
I've got a little surprise for you Randy. If not tomorrow, the next time I see you. I'll have it in the car..........along with many, many other things. I expect to get there mid morning.
I love surprises, looking forward to things is a plus, you are amazing. I'll be there with your guys lunch around 1 oclock. Call me if you want me to be there earlier. Weather looks great!  :)

Thank You's / Re: Most Welcome!
« on: March 26, 2014, 07:57:34 AM »
I can't say enough about the help Shawn McCarthy gives me. This is NOT the time of year for course upgrades. We spread chips in some key areas for the tournament this week end. Although the water is down, it will take little to have a traffic pattern of mud. So sad for Channahon. Play well people!
Thanks Guys! That's going to make both those rounds much more enjoyable and you didn't get paid a dime to do that for everyone. That's what's so special about this game, people give their heart and soul and money, blood and guts, for other people's enjoyment. You don't get a nickname Sodfather for nothing, you earn it!  Big Thanks to other J-Towners on keeping up those other nice courses in J-Town land, you are amazing :)

Leagues & Tourneys / Re: Volunteers wanted!
« on: February 23, 2014, 10:12:21 PM »
Volunteers needed!

I'm going to post a list of everything I need volunteers for below. Please PM me, or post here if you are willing to help out with one of the following:

The week leading up to the tournament. (March 22nd-28th)
1.) 30' Circles at Channahon (I will supply the paint and the sprayer)
2.) 30' Circles at RBF

Both tournament days:

1.) Hang banners and take them down at RBF Saturday
2.) Hang banners and take them down at Channahon Saturday
3.) Hang banners and take them down at RBF Sunday
4.) Hang banners and take them down at Channahon Sunday
5.) Put up hole sponsor signs and take them down at RBF on Saturday
6.) Put up hole sponsor signs and take them down at Channahon Saturday
7.) Put up hole sponsor signs and take them down at RBF Sunday
8.) Put up hole sponsor signs and take them down at Channahon Sunday
9.) Photographers! Need photographers!
10.) Also would like to have a few more Videographers.
11.) Someone to hold the leaderboard sign during the final 9
12.) Spotter(s) at Channahon both days
13.) Spotter(s) at RBF both days

If I think of more, I'll add it to the list. As volunteers come in, I will put their name on the list next to the job they want to help out with. Thanks in advance!
I can help with Channahon. Spot where needed & the 10 meter circles. I just need the paint & help. I'm going to the gym, trying to get back in shape, but some simple things are difficult, like breathing on the treadmill. Weights on a machine are not an issue, & riding a bike isn't a problem. So, maybe my hero, Shawn McCarthy, or others will give me a hand with that task.
Good for you Frankie! I find the gym a great place to find positive. Sometimes I go there 3 times a day but only exercise once. People are warm and I want to live longer.

Future Diagnostics (Tim Murray)  $100.00

Bill Jacobs $100
We have $2,800 to date plus raffle items, that doesn't include around $700.00 from tags (Aaron Studer)  & around $500.00 from winter doubles (Mick McGowan & Mike Holmquist) That's HUGE you guys!!! Aaron, you'll be missed doing tags. I can't thank you enough!!! Jesse & Darrin have been running doubles forever, & thanks for that.
Back to the Fundraiser. My hand & toes don't account for donations from golfers. My logic is synergy, we get something at no cost, but yet, given the opportunity to give back, we decline. So sad!!!

Don't know how you do it my Brother but you know how to get those big numbers. Way to go Frankie! Killing it as usual. You do nothing half assed.

I tried to clear up my schedule and failed =(. I am available Friday if there is more being done this week. Otherwise next week is looking pretty open so far.
That would be GREAT!!!  :) I have something else to do tomorrow & will get started with the bench Thursday (concrete) Probably around 9am, so any time after that. A little down today, that warms my heart!!! See you Friday. If something comes up, I'll understand.
Happy Happy Frankie!

I've been thinking about a basket circle around #13. Like #8 & #16. It's grunt work, digging it out & replacing & it with gravel. I don't have a time frame, so let me know if you can help. My guess would be about 4 hrs. & we need to do it on a week day, so we can use a cart.
Always something Frankie..Thanks my friend, your endless strength is appreciated!
