I met with Morning Star Missions this afternoon & they offered help tournament day. Interestling they wanted to have an Ice Bowel but after looking into it was more than they could handle. I'm excited that we are doing something to help the needy in our area! I've thought this for sometime of what a good community of disc golfers we have in the Juliet area, that must include Jason Poole for getting the club started. Many know that this area is a strong for disc golf but it just hasn't moved up to the next step. I'm thrilled about moving forward in our community. I would like to promote synergy. We have a solid base that's been in hibernation, with many Good people. Much thanks to Thor for starting Ice Bowel!!!
What I'd like to do is treated wood steps from #14 to #15's tee. I bounced that off someone, maybe Blain. I would like to make them at Parks shop. I want to make them solid so they don't erode. I was told the Park had the material. My focus is still Channahon, I'm just trying to help y'all. If I'm out of bounds let me know. Frank
I think you need to reconsider #2 & #10, also #17 & #18. There's going to be a lot of Congestion there during tournaments, respect will go to one group over the other when they tee off, not to mention waiting to finish the hole. I also noticed #12 & #14 I assume shrubs will be cleared to give lines for drives? What I like about Oswego is the natural setting & the more things you remove you delete the rustic natural look. I most disagree with 2,& 10, 17, & 18. You might waht to give this some attention before concrete tees. Of course this is my opinion. Do you have Mike Fees #? I wnat to do some work out there & need to check with him.
What we did on the first day of bag challenge is have a pick up for money. Jason Poole & I did not get into that, the other six did. We talked about the bag challenge to be with a handicap & that we be for money. It's somrthing we can discuss, thanks for your input, also thanks as to where to get the rings.
