WEEK 6- May 12, 2010
First Half #6
Trinity Links - Lockport, Illinois
18 Holes - Short Tees - Par 54
Conditions:  Temp: Low 50s, windy cloudy, wet, and cold. It was a raw night for disc golf. A least the rain held up until we were done.
Considering the rain that fell early in the day the course wasn't in horrible shape. The course was wet and muddy on the usual spots and on some tee pads.

Another BIG thanks to Riphizer for the raffles and free hotdogs. Check out their website at www.Riphizer.com

Highland Park - Joliet, Illinois
20 Holes - Short Tees - Par 60
Conditions:  Temp: Low 70s, sunny &  gusty winds to start. Mid to low 60’s at the end. Another nice night.

The course is in great shape. A couple of holes had some mud but they are drying quickly.

For the 19th & 20th hole we added two short holes after hole 15. One teeing towards old 16’s basket and the other coming back to new hole 16’s tee pad. Both on top of the newly created dirt mound.

I haven't heard of anything but we need to bring the Worlds Biggest Disc Golf Weekend back to the Joliet area. Joliet’s draw was always one of the biggest in the country. So many people have been introduced to disc golf through this great event. Maybe next year.

I want to thank Riphizer for all the support you've given us at league. The raffles and free hot dogs have been great addition this year. You've created a party/picnic type atmosphere each week that everyone is talking about.
