J-TOWN DOUBLES WEEK 1 RESULTS 2018
WEEK 3 - April 18, 2018
First Half #3
The Round Barn-Manhattan, IL

TEES
Odd numbered holes red baskets and Even numbered holes silver baskets including hole 5

CONDITIONS
The night started and ended with temps around 35 degrees and with a windchill in the low 30s. We had cloudy skies with some light mist. The winds were almost none existing, blowing from the north at 3-5 mph. It was a cold night but nothing compared to what was predicted in earlier forecasts. The course is in great shape. The tee pads were a little wet but not too slippery.

WOMENS DIVISION
Once again this year will have an all womens division. We will keep points the same way as the other divisions. We will have one first half winner, one second half winner and one overall winner. We hope more women will come out throughout the year. Please spread the word.

NOTES
• It was great to see everyone again. We had many new faces that we hope will continue to show up each week. We also hope that the familiar faces that weren’t there will make their way back and be part of this year’s league.
We miss you!

• Please don’t be discouraged if you’re an AM and had a rough first night. Shake it off and try again next week. The more you play and learn from the league’s more advanced players the better your game will evolve. We’ve all been through this stage. We’ll see you next week.

• Paula “Momma Borowski” Borowski  and Jaime “Birthday Girl” McDonald braved the wintery conditions and take the win. They shot a fantastic round of 55!

• Ron “Ronstoppable” Dawson and Izak “Imac” McDonald easily take down the Pro/Adv division by shooting a amazing round of 38 (-16)

• John “Johnny Putts” Vaccaro and Anthony “Ant” Bakun easily take down the Am/Nov Division by shooting a fantastic round of 41 (-13).

• Shout out to Jamie Mac and Jimmy Mac on their 11 wedding anniversary. It was also Jamie Macs Birthday
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

• Congratulations to Callayards for their aces. Sean Callahan #12 and Steve Vinyard #3.

• Shout out to everyone who helped bringing stuff up to pavilion. It’s a big help!
