Course Map.  Note marsh area to the right of 19 is OB, not a high chance anyone will get into that.  Hole 4 and 6 play from Long tee both rounds. Hole 1 water OB after the 2nd foot bridge.  Water on near side of it is casual.  Pond is OB on 2 as well as creek water (bridge is in bounds). There's a small pool of water behind 15 that is OB, and there is water to the left on 16 (tough to get to) that is also OB.  Hole 20 and 21, path and over to right is OB once past the tee.

One day C-Tier PDGA sanctioned tournament.

This is the day before Fathers Day. All Dads who sign up will have a special CTP setup just for them.

Two 27 hole rounds at Westpark. Westpark is one of the most popular courses in the Joliet area. Hole 2 is an easy shot down from the top of the ridge to the basket below, while hole 11, The Green Mile, is a long shot with a fairway that narrows significantly from the halfway point to the pin. The course plays thru mature oaks. Tee pads are natural.

Pre-registration is HIGHLY encouraged. This is a one day only event, and very likely to fill. Plus, if you pre-register, it helps us run a smoother tournament. Even though I prefer pre-registration, there is NO Day of Fee for registration if spots are available.

Check in, and day of registration (if there are spots available) will be between 8-9am at the pavillion above hole 8. Registration ends promptly at 9. Players meeting at 9:15am and play begins after that.

TD Headquarters will be at the pavillion above hole 8. The pavillion is off Wheeler Ave. The map below is fully functional.

"

All divisions play on Saturday.

Base cost is $30 for Amateur divisions, and $55 for Pro divisions. Ace fund is $2 and CTP is $3. If you are not a current PDGA member, there is also a $10 charge that gets passed on to the PDGA.

Shoot The Breeze / Re: Disc golf @ at ball golf outing
« Last post by Goforit on May 03, 2013, 07:47:03 AM »
Hi all -

The Grundy County Chamber of Commerce is hosting a golf outing at Nettle Creek Country Club in Morris on Friday, June 21st.  The chamber reached out to me to incorporate disc golf into one of the holes at the outing.

The only thing I can come up with is to place a basket about 200 yards along the fairway, then once the golfer has passed the basket with the golf ball, have them stop by the basket and sink a 20-25' putt with a disc before they can proceed to finish the ball golf hole.  Whaddya think??

Any other ideas??  Reply with any suggestions.

Thanks!

Kevin
I did this at a cancer event Kevin. I put a basket between 2 holes at the tee that usually get backed up. I Put the basket about 50 feet and Charged them one dollar a shot. If they made it they won $5. Made about $200 for cancer research. Only two golfers made it. They had a blast and it introduces the game and helps a cause. Good luck and way to go Kevin!
