The Fest will most likely be switched to October 12! Stayed tuned and I will have more info soon.

Might be a dumb question, but is there a round of golf going on too??? If so, I'd be willing to purchase a CTP pack from a new company Towch. They just want to grow their company. I attached the message they sent to me. If this is something that j-town would like, let me know.
From Towch- That was posted prior to our 100 Towch giveaway. What we do offer is a Towch CTP pack. It's $15. You get 5 units, a banner, some decals and some mini-scrubbers. With 3 CTP markers for you to use. Give away a couple per hole or save 2 for ring of fire... We need photos from the event and it must have a fb event page to be considered. (Essentially, the $15 covers shipping.)

Yes, we play a round of 20-24 holes at around 11:00 am. All divisions combined.
We love free raffle/ctp stuff, so of course we’re interested!
-
I will respond back to then today to see if they will participate. The said it needs a FB event page. Can that be setup?
-
You have to ask the J-Town Club for that.
-
Sounds like we don't need an events page as long as we take pictures. I will follow up and let you know what I can do.
-
You have to ask the J-Town Club for that.
I was actually thinking of putting this as an event on the J-Town page but didn't know the times and such for sure - I was even about to text you, Jesse.
J-Town Fest is part of the disc golf club, so if you would like, I can post whatever you want on the FB page. You can message me or leave it here and I will cut and paste right into an 'Event' on the FB page. Let me know.
-
The last message I received from Towch they said they just needed to do some confirmation on there end and we may have something setup. I don't think we need the FB page, but if we do I will let you know ASAP. I just want to contribute something to the fest.

:( this is the response I got back.
We were unable to find any events mentioned or shown for your October event. We regretfully must decline the sponsor pack without confirmation of a valid event.
I told him that I would contact him for the next event that can be confirmed on PDGA. So this time it's an unfortunate no, but I hope to still be able to get a CTP pack in the future.

Isn't the last Trinity Links tournament the same day?

I'm looking for two sponsors.
1. I need someone to buy and bring two pinatas. One for the adults to throw our discs at and one for the kids to hit. They can be small.
2. I also need 3 pies for the Gary Lewis Throw For The Pies!
Also please bring your basket if you have one.

I don't know how to give them out so that is up to you guys. I will get there about an hour before registration. I will bring them and we can decide on a plan.

Special thanks goes out to Sean Callahan & Gary Lewis for all their hard work on getting this course laid out.
Thanks to everyone who helped out and brought baskets. It took over 30 of us to set up this course in a couple of hours . We had over 25 baskets show up in the end. We had guys driving and carrying baskets all over the place. We had people putting up signs & flags and they even saved my parking spot in the front. Guys helped out with registration and everyone brought in baskets on the holes they ended on.
This was one united day of disc golf!
The hundred or so players who worked on the courses threw out the year. Our courses look great and are in amazing shape.
PLAYERS!
Thanks to all the players for coming out this year.
Special Thanks to all the players who dedicated 6 months to the league by coming out every Wednesday. Are league is strong because of your dedication. Thanks to all the people who gave a hand through out the year with registration, setting-up and breaking down.
To the top 20 or so Am/Nov players each year. You are the glue to the league. It’s vital to our leauge to take that new player under your wing. If you show him or her a few things and are patient with them they will come back. This makes are league stronger.
