I was reading the past posts & I hope you understand. First I'm stable, not like a disc, Patrick. Now it really is not without struggle, & I will whine, with the side effects from the medication, no spin, I believe I'm going to be just fine. I just may not have sex the rest of my life. Not true with Randy Moore. My heart goes out to him, except when we play disc golf. He is in an unknown world, & I feel for him. The positive is huge!!! I wonder how many believe that with their heart & soul? I think Fern thinks that way. There are different levels of prostate cancer & mine is aggressive, because I waited. PMA is a big deal, & the more positive the better chance of success. You have to believe with your heart, mind & soul! I wonder how many have been there, regardless of the dealt cards?
Couldn't of said it better Frank. Positive mind over matter. Your kicking the cancers ass. Keep it up my Brother!
I realize this is about how I'm doing with my aggressive prostate cancer & my struggle. I've been through a ton of broken bones & surgeries. Screws or wires in my foot, leg & & jaw, scares I can't remember & 28% of my body burned. This is about my liberal friend Randy Moore. Although many, I think the burns may be the burns may be the worse, extremely painful, maybe multiple surgeries on my wrist, doesn't matter. Saying that,t I can only begin to realize what Randy has been going through. Pain, nine surgies, whatever, two lost fingers, Wheeeew!!! I think God is blessing Randy with his GREAT play relative to disc golf. Whatever supreme power you believe in, for me it's God, included Randy. He needs your love! For me in 2012, it looks like another year of lazy production.
My disc golf friends are a joy to my heart!
Your right Frank. God has included me. And I am proud to include him. The way you are fighting through your high Gleason count is incredible and shows you are included. There's no secret. Believe and stay positive my Brother and things will be good. You have been a inspiration to me to keep on keepin on! And your right Frank, the disc golf nation is the best support group there is. Love them all!
I met with my radiologist today & my numbers continue to be stable, Great news! To my disappointment, hormonal continues until 08/12. What she said is because of the aggressive type of cancer, it's two years after my last treatment. I just gritted my teeth. My hope was only one maybe two more. Unless you've been there it's difficult to communicate. My male hormones are being removed. Randy calls me lazy, but I tire easily. I see the GU Doctor 12/19 & they have a wealth of information. If I can help anyone with my experience, please contact me.
Lazy was mentioned one time and boy oh boy, big mistake! I'll never hear the end of it. I'll eat my crow. Awesome test results Frank! August is just a goal now. A Positive one my Friend. Good work!!!
How things happen that I'm thankful for. Carbo got a job from an old friend/neighbor of mine. They had an end of year excess inventory at discount prices. She gave me or Community Park 1-5" Dawn redwood, 1- 18'-20' river birch & 1- 6' dogwood. After I made the order, she asked who was paying for it & I told her I was & she said take them, Awesome!!! I've wanted a dawn redwood for #15 for about 3 years. Thanks Kathy Sharp!!! Now get this, that was Great but how was I going to get them to Channahon? Scott has a 1 ton that would work but I was unable to reach him. I decided to call the Park. I really don't like asking for their help, just don't. To be clear a couple of guys are friendlies, Larry & Dobber. To my suprise, & with a good attitude, they drove to Kendall Hill Nursery, in Newark & picked up the trees. Wait until you see them!
Wow. When you sit and think of all the money and labor you put into Channy Frank it makes perfect sense you got some kickbacks. You deserve it! Thanks for your continued improvments Frank. The course looks amazing.
Yep. We both shot -8 and went to hole #2 in sudden death where John made his putt and I missed mine. I missed a 15 foot putt on hole #23 that would of won it but John was a better player. Fun round that went down to the last putt. Congrats John and Thank You Patrick for the competitive disc golf that you gave this year!
I Helped add up the votes for the Gary Lewis Achievement Award & the well deserved winner for 2011 is Jesse Saenz! Congratulations Jesse!!! You've done a tremendous good work, not only the past year, but for many years. It's a pleasure knowing you.
Your hard work has paid off Jesse. Very deserving. Thanks for all that you do!

Your endless hard work and the money you pour into Channy is very much appreciated.
I have continued Good News! My psa is 0.02. Can you believe that? I'm doing numbers from memory, 13.82 was the start. After radiation & one or two implants, the number was 0.36, six months later 0.13, & now 0.02. The trend is dooown!!! Not much downside left. I get one more implant. I'll be on my own for three months, & six months from now I'll meet the GU & we'll see how I'm doing. I'm certainly not of the woods, but I see the sun shining brightly! I'm also not sure when I'll feel normal, but I'm super thrilled on numbers!
I'm so glad for you Frank!! Your positive mind and ability to fight has rewarded you. I think many prayers are being answered for you my Brother!! It's hard sometimes but giving up isn't a option. I love your inspirational videos. I'm sharing one of mine with you.
We ended up with 132 discs. Fox Valley gave 31. From my point of view, it represents the giving from our clubs. We have many good hearted people, unfortunately it's secluded to our group. I think this will say something. J-Town contributors, Jesse, Patrick, Thor, Dean, GMan, Al, Shawn, Tom, Jason, Lauren, Dan, Frank. I don't have any names from Fox Valley.
Zac, Blaine, Rev Rick, were some, and thank you to ALL involved. Would of been more from Underdog, and Tafe but unfortunate circumstances came about where I was unable to pick them up. My bad. Promoting and giving comes through again from the disc golf faithful! So cool.
This has been going on for sometime & I want to mention today along with a couple of others. I went to Summit Seed & it's somewhere southeast of Wilmington. I can't get the blend of fertilizer locally I like. While that far away, I know of this sod farm east of Manteno, Quality Turf. They have a mono strand of bluegrass I want to test for Channahon. I wanted ten pieces & Bob gave them to me! Thanks Bob!!! I want to do something about the mosquitoes at Channahon, Tom M. got me a qt. bottle of demand at half price, $120.00. Randy Moore, Blaine, Tafe are names that come to mind, mostly Randy, are thrilled with what's going on at Oswego. It's effortless work, maybe not quite effortless. I also received an award last week. The concrete tees at Lockport. I can't forget my J-Town friends, I'm truly blessed! The deal today brought to surface these thoughts. There is many subtle good things going on.
I don't know anyone who coddles disc golf courses like you my friend! Every disc golfer is blessed from your never ending hard work!
