anybody interested in having a shorewood park clean up day to try to avoid losing one of our hometown courses??? it is a shame to see garbage piled up next to the cans and broken glass everywhere... let me know if theres a good day?

Saturday morning would work for me.

It’ great to see my nephew step up and help the disc golf community. On September 28 our last Wed league night we can also show up early and pick up garbage during practice. I’ll probably do that anyway.

Well Jesse's nephew, if it doesn't work for Saturday, we can do it at doubles. I'm really strapped for time to do it any other day.

Hey sorry I have not had time to get online. Yeah me and my brother are going to go to Shorewood Park to try and get some of the garbage picked up. we will probably head up there at 9 am and spend a couple hours cleaning up before we play the oaks. ;D

the clean up was a success! we filled 18 bags of trash and brought most of the signs back to life. hopefully its stays that way for doubles

Good Grief! I was looking for some confirmation. I have other things going on. I'm glad it worked out. I'm looking forward to meeting the author.

Great work guys! The signs look awesome! I still don't know why the hell people think signing the back and front of signs is cool after they ace. It’s called vandalism and it’s one of the reasons why we lost Shorewood once already.

Yeah We made that park look good again. I sure hope and wish people would understand that they are ruining a good thing.

I didn't follow up on this, but I heard the handwriting is on the wall for Shorewood. Maybe someone can follow up on this rumor. When I get time I'll see what I can find out.
