First Half #6
Trinity Links - Lockport, Illinois
18 Holes - Short Tees - Par 54
Conditions:  Temp: Low 50s, windy cloudy, wet, and cold. It was a raw night for disc golf. A least the rain held up until we were done.
Considering the rain that fell early in the day the course wasn't in horrible shape. The course was wet and muddy on the usual spots and on some tee pads.

Steve Forneris & Josh Knight destroy the field with a blistering round of 39 (-15). Considering the conditions this was a great round. They end up in first place and taking home $62 each. We had a three way tie for second place. Darrin Johnson & Kris Hutter win the ctp playoff to take the honors. They end up taking home 40 bucks each. Al Hermosillo & Eric Bassett end up in third and splitting $52. The teams shot 41s(-13).


TOP THREE
AM/NOV

Dave Hopkins & Danny “Nugget” Tejero put a hurting on the Am/Nov field by shooting a very nice 46 (-8). They end up in first and splitting 65 bucks.They also add 4 points to their totals which shoots them up the ladder towards the top. There was a tie for second place with teams shooting 48s (-6). Thor Batchelor & John Marren win the ctp playoff to take second and split $35. More importantly they receive that extra point and add three points to their point totals. John Knudson Sr. & Jeff Reardon finish in third and end up taking home $12 each and add two points to their totals.

WEEK 7- May 19, 2010
First Half #7
Community Park - Channahon, Illinois
21 Holes - Short Tees - Par 63
Conditions:  Temp: High 70s, sunny and very windy to start. High 60s with the winds calming down at the end. A great night for disc golf.
The course looks beautiful!

Added three holes after hole 2 called the triangle. 3a tee pad started south of hole 2s bridge. The shot was a 270’ anhyzer back towards the water near hole 2s pro tee. The water was in play with a lot of shots ending in the middle. 3b was a 330’ straight shot back towards hole 5s basket. 3c was a 300’ straight shot back towards hole 3s tee.

Shooting a fantastic round of 46 (-17) was Ryan Hoffman & Brian Bazan. The end up taking first by a stroke and end up splitting $131. The also add 4 points to their totals moving them up the point chart. With only 6 weeks left in the first half this was a big move. We had a tie for second. Mick McGowan & Jason McKinney win the ctp playoff on hole 1 to take second place. They end up taking home 42 bucks each. Al Hermosillo & Kris Hutter end up in third and split $57. The teams shot 47s (-16).

TOP THREE
AM/NOV

Jason Riley and Scott Parik trash the field by three strokes to take first place. They end up shooting a great round of 49 (-14) and end up splitting 75 bucks. Jason Smith & Jake Riley shoot a 52 (-11) to take second place alone and they take home $23 each. There was a tie for third with the teams shooting 53s (-10). Cory Clements & Ryan Gavrick end up winning the ctp playoff on hole 1 to take third place honors. They end up splitting $35.

Conditions:  Temp: Mid 80s, a little cloudy and a little windy to start. High 70s with the winds calming down at the end. A great night for disc golf.
The course was almost completely dry.

Whipping the fields butt to take first place was John Knudson Jr. & Brandon Rosch. They shot a fantastic round of 51 (-21). With only five weeks left until the end of the first half they tack on four huge points to their totals. They end up splitting $133. We had a tie for second with the teams shooting 53s (-19). Steve Forneris & Randy Bruemmer win the the ctp playoff on hole 24 to take the second place honors. They end up taking home $44.50 each. Steve Slater & Jon Boster take the third place honors and split 62 bucks.


TOP THREE
AM/NOV

There was a tie for first. Zach Pershau & Matt Preston end up winning the playoff to take the first place honors. They end up splitting $80 which is the biggest payout for the Am division to date.  Mike Ryan & Kevin Maciuba end up in second and take home $25 each. The teams shot great rounds of 56 (16). There was also a tie for second place with the teams shooting 57s (15). Pulling out the ctp playoff were Ryan Gavrick & Scott Paraday. They end up splitting $39.

Conditions:  Temp: High 70s  sunny  to start. Low 70s  at the end. Mosquitoes were out in force. A very nice night for doubles.
The course was a little muddy but not bad considering all the rain that fell.

The hot round for the night was thrown by Jon Vargo & Steve Slater. They end up shooting a 43 (-11) to take the top honors and end up splitting $124. We had a tie for second with Dom Sanfilippo & Bobby McDonald winning the ctp playoff on hole ten. They end up taking second and splitting $75. Dean Bingham & Brandon Rosch end up in third and take home 25 bucks each. The teams ended up shooting 44s (-10). With only 4 weeks left for the first half Brandon moves closer and closer to first place.

Whipping the rest of the Ams butts by two strokes were Mike Ryan & Jason Smith. They end up shooting a great round of 47 (-7) to take first place and they split 67 bucks. This win for Jason S. catapults him into a first place for the first half. There was a tie for second with the teams shooting 49s (-5). Jim Baker & Jason Riley win the ctp playoff on hole ten to take the honors. They end up taking home $19 each. This second place finish for Jason R. puts him into second place for the first half alone. Cory Clement & Dave Hopkins take third and split 28 bucks. Cory moves into a three way tie for third for the first half with only 4 weeks left.

Conditions:  Temp: Mid 80s,  sunny and very windy from the SW to start. High 70s  at the end with the winds subsiding. Mosquitoes were out but not bad. The rough was rough but the course looks fantastic and it’ in great condition A perfect night for doubles.
Plus the Hawks won the Stanley Cup!

The hot round for the night was thrown by Jon Vargo & Jon Klein. They end up crushing the field shooting a 42 (-12) to take the top spot They end up splitting $127. This was Jon Vargos second win in a row. We had a three way tie for second with teams shooting 44s (-10). Ryan Gremillion & Steve Slater win the ctp playoff on long hole one to capture second place and they split $78. Steve Forneris & Jerry Harvey take third and take home $26 each. With three weeks left Fern and Steve S. take huge jumps to the top of the points list for the first half. In just two weeks Jon V. tacks on 8-points to his total making a late charge to the top.

Crushing the rest of the Ams by two strokes were Brian Young & Ron Cerevic. They end up shooting an awesome round of 44 (-10) to take first place and they split 66 bucks. Jason Riley & Dave Preston win second place out right with a fine round of 46 (-8). They end up tacking on three huge points and split $34. This second place finish for Jason R. takes him to the top of the points list for the first half. With only three weeks left it's going to be a battle for the top 4 spots. Kevin Macuiba & Tom Hopkins take third place with a nice round of 47 (-7). They end up splitting 22 bucks.
