TOP THREE
PRO/ADV
Playing spoiler to some of the top point leaders for the first half were Dana Vicich & Bobby McDonald. They shot a great round of 54 (-18) to capture the first place honors on the last night of the first half. They end up splitting $131. We had a tie for second with the teams shooting 55s (-17). Randy Bruemmer & Dominic Sanfilippo win the ctp playoff on hole 1 to take the honors. They end up taking home $40 each. Darrin Johnson & Jason McKinney end up in third splitting $54.
Eric Bassett is battling at the Am Worlds this week but he still keeps his first place finish for the first half. With their first year back to league from a long layoff Steve Forneris and Steve Slater take second and third respectively. It’s nice to see you guys back. Rounding out the fourth and final spot is Darrin Johnson. Even though his getting old and broken down he still can compete at a high level once in a while. Congratulations to all of you.
TOP THREE
AM/NOV
Danny (Nuggett) Tejero needed a big night to capture the fourth and final cash spot for the first half. He needed to win coupled with many other players not placing in the top three for the night. We’ll the night worked out perfect for him. Tying for first and winning the playoff were Ryan Gavrick & Danny Tejero. They end up taking home $35 each and more importantly Nuggett gets the fourth and final cash spot for the first half. Mike Ryan & Jason Riley take second and split $40. Jason added extra security points to his already first place win for the half. The teams shot 60s (-12). Tying for third and winning the playoff were two new guys Elmer Mueller & Randy McMurray. They end up splitting 30 bucks but more importantly they play spoiler to many players fighting for position. The teams shot 62s (-10).
Jason Riley comfortably takes first this half and he’s pumped and looking forward to battle for the overall trophy. Jason Smith has become one of the best Am players in the area in just a short couple of years. He takes second for the first half and is looking forward to the overall battle. Zach Pershau as usual quietly takes third. He’s always at the top of the points list but now he is looking to take it all. Nuggett Tejero takes the fourth and last cash spot for the half. Watching this kid grow from a little 13 year old trying to play with grown Am men in the area to a 16 year old that can whip most grown Am men in the area is pretty cool. Congratulations to all of you.
