There is a J Town Disc Golf Club meeting 3/8/10 at the McDonald's on Jefferson (Rt. 52) next to I-55. South side of 52, East of 55. Meeting will start promptly at 6:00 p.m.
Christopher Piercy we found another one of your discs. I believe it is a champion Boss. Winter league has it now. You can pick it up at channahon 3/7/10 at doubles.
Thanks again, to everyone that helped get the ball rolling with the J Town Ice Bowl. I would like to thank everyone that helped make the tournament run smoothly that day. It can get very hectic getting everything setup and expedited quickly to get this done before sundown. Now we know and can do better next time. Thanks Gary Lewis, Mike Kursell, Darren Johnson, Jesse Saenz, Ray Hill, Jason Poole, Sara Ongenae, Nate Winterstein, Terry and the Mission for the food and drinks. Thanks for the shanty Randy.
Thanks Lauren for coming out and taking some great pictures as usual. I noticed Pat Johnson out with his video camera. Thanks and hope to see how it turned out. Too bad you walked off by 18 right before Buddy hit 19 & 20 back to back.

This is probably a dumb question - but this tourney on Saturday will be my first tourney, as I've only been playing since October. I've been out the last couple Saturdays to practice, and the course is quickly becoming one of my favorites. Not just because it's a nice, challenging course, but because it's amazingly maintained and cared for.
My question is this: there are 2 sets of tees, will the Novice division play both rounds from this tee? Also, I saw this
and was wondering what divisions/rounds played from the up tees or the back tees. I'm interested in comparing my practice rounds to tourneys that have taken place here. I guess I'm a little over excited about my first tourney, and picking up a Buzz.
thanks.
Just remember to have fun. There are a lot of holes and 2 rounds. Most tournaments you don't get to see the same holes from the same tee pads in the 2nd round. Pay attention to the wind and keep it simple. Stick to the basics, and what you know works for you. Good luck!
No offense to Fox Valley, but I will not be making it out to their Ice Bowl. So I will be at the tag challenge for anyone else that is not going to Fox Valley.
...and the snow is so delightful... There was $0 in the ace fund and there was nothing added to the ace fund. See you 1/2/10 at Shorewood (white) 10am.
