Dennis Flatt #4366
1959-2006

Dennis was a great guy and an awesome player. He had one of the prettiest backhand throws I ever seen. One of the holes at Channahon was named after him similar to Highland Park's holes All the holes at Channahon were named after local players with big wooden plaques hanging in trees. Does anybody remember what hole Dennis had and what it was called?

We're talking way back in time. The only hole I was reminded of was Harmon's Hill #9 & Scott Harmon reminded me of that.
I played with Dennis often & his drives were awesome. He threw effortlessly, like Flash. It seems with his struggle, he simply gave up. I miss Dennis.
by the way, the picture of Darrin reminds me of Kotter.

Holes 10 & 11 were called “The Flatts” and the sign was on hole 10.
