As some of you may know the director from the Mission, Terri Micetich, passed away, 42 yrs. old. I'm working with Chrissy Brown. I spoke with her, & we will have chili, but I didn't ask about the chicken noodle soup. As I read the post I said, oops, I forgot about the soup. I want to also mention, Aaron Studer has been collecting with Sat. tags ctp, Shawn McCarthy has a sponsor, Eric Doty, sponsor, Aces & Chains (Patrick) sponsor. This is about helping others, lets join with Aaron, Shawn, Eric, Patrick, & others, to make the $10,000.00 mark. :)

I'm going to try and raise some extra money and food locally up here in the city and at my office. Does anyone know if monetary donations are tax deductible? This may help to get more donations so just wanted to ask about that so I have the proper information while fundraising. If checks are written, who should the checks be made out to? Thanks guys!

That's a great question... I bet Frank could answer that. I will text him and ask him to check on this for you.

Yes, it can be deducted. I talked with the new director a month or so ago & she said she would send out letters.
Make checks out to Morning Star Mission. Be sure & get an address, although they are typically on the checks.
Thank for your help! :)

Due to all the snow on the ground now and with the expected snow in the upcoming days, we received an exemption to use ribbons on the discs. Feel free to tape them up.
Any questions please ask.

What up J Town!?
I just signed up for this weekend. I also just signed up for the PDGA, and I made a $50 donation to the Ice Bowl. Just make sure Frank knows!
Do we need the tees and paths to be cleaned?
I may possibly be able to get out there tomorrow after work.
Lemme know!

Every thing is coming along nicely. Kevin Macuiba helped with the pavilion. Steve Slater made a path to the baskets with his snow blower, quite a lot of work. The tees are clean. I'm meeting Ryan Fancher tomorrow, he made the sponsor signs. Chrissy Brown, from Morning Star Mission, is on track. She'll be there at 8:00am with coffee & hot chocolate. I wonder if she should be there a little earlier? Gary is all set. Thanks for the offer to help along with you donation Dave K.

No wonder your back is giving you fits...you are amazing how you walk that course, shovel that course, seed that course, etc....and to give give give like you do should bring smiles to many, Thanks Frankie and the J-Town machine.

I had a blast at the Ice bowl. The best part for me is seeing Kristi get a trophy. Even though most of the time she feels like it's just for participating. The effort you make to include her is greatly appreciated! See you all next year =). DISC GOLF!

Great job Frank! You never cease to amaze me with the amount of work you do for the disc golf community.
And hey, who was that talented TD you had working the ice bowl with you?
Awesome job guys!
