Work day on this Sunday July 5. The rain and the growth is making Highland a complete jungle. Bring your weed eaters, mowers, loppers, pruners, tree pruners or anything else that might work on cutting. Chainsaws for some down trees would also help. We also need garbage removal. We will have to bring some cans out to the curbs so they can take them or fill garbage bags up from the cans and bring them to the curb. The cut out area by Hole 9 is a good spot. I tried cleaning hole 12 but it’s a mess. If you want to help that’s great even if it’s an hour, I’ll be out there by 8:00 am. I’ll be out there a few days this week so I should have a better idea on what’s left to do on Sunday morning. F THE RAIN! Please pass this along. Thanks!
We have a Course Grand opening set for June 27 at 11 am. The park is giving out 100 free discs & putting for pies. New redesign was put in this week at Knoch which is a lot better. The old 9 are totally gone, tees moved to new locations all groomed and flush to ground now with sod, new basket locations on several of the new 9, and several all new holes. I'm thinking of having a best shot with pro/advanced division 9 am. Pass the word at Jtown, Be there, or be square!
