J-TOWN DOUBLES WEEK 20 RESULTS 2019
WEEK 20 • August 21, 2019
Second Half #7
Trinity Links • Lockport, IL
TEES
Short Tees • B Pins • 19 Holes
7A- 175ish foot hole. Short tee to elevated basket guarded by bamboo fence.
7B 400ish foot hole. Alternate 7 tee pad to B Pin.
CONDITIONS
The night started out in the low 80s and dropped into the mid 70s by the end. The dew points were in the low 70s to high 60s so it felt a little sticky but overall very pleasant. The winds were out of the NW at around 3-9 mph. Rain sprinkles came and went throughout the night but not even enough to break out the umbrella. Other than that it was a perfect night for disc golf. The course is dry and in fantastic condition.
NOTES
• Only 5 weeks left of the year.
• Overall points are now in play. You must have played in both halves to qualify for overall points.
• Paula “Momma Borowski” Borowski and Jamie “JamieMac” McDonald shoot a great round of 57 and take the win in the Women’s Division.
• JimmyMac guarantees a win before the round and he delivers. With great driving and huge putting Jim “JimmyMac” McDonald and David “Festiband” Garb shoot an outstanding round of 43 (-14) in the Pro/Adv Division. This is now Jimmy’s second win in a row and he has won three times in the last four weeks. He now jumps into second place alone for the second half and he is in striking distance of a top three overall finish. Meanwhile Garb has only showed up three times this second half and he has twice. He also shoots up the second half leaderboard and he is in striking distance of a top four finish.
• In slaughter rule fashion Pete “Pistol Petey” Wilson and Kurtis “Ponyboy Kurtis” Simonich completely annihilate the Am/Nov Division by FIVE strokes. They end up shooting an amazing round of 44 (-13) and take the first place victory. With this round they would of cashed in the Pro/Adv field. Kurtis is completely on fire and with this win he moves into a tie for first for the second half and he moves into second place overall. Pete is now in striking distance in both the second half and overall standings.
• Shout out to Mike Conlee for the extra CTP prize
• Thanks Taco Lady for coming out
• Shout to Matt Coyne for taking second place and hitting an ace on a ctp money hole.
• Thanks Joseph, Jimmy, Tom Matesevac and everyone else that helped bring out and bring in baskets for 7a and 17.

• Next week is the last 5:30 start. We will start at 5:15 for all of September.
