CONDITIONS Temperature was in the low 70s, sunny & very windy start. It cooled off into the low 60s by the end of the round. Frank the course looks great and it’s in fantastic condition!

TOP THREE PRO/ADV Kris Hutter & Bobby McDonald take the top honors for the night by shooting a awesome round of 39 (-15). They end up splitting 124 bucks. This was a huge victory for Kris. He takes a huge leap into a tie for second with Al Hermosillo for the second half and more importantly he jumps into sole possession of third place overall. We had a tie for second place with the teams shooting very impressive rounds of 40 (-14). Jason McKinney & Joe Witzl win the ctp playoff on hole one to claim the victory. They take home $40 each. Joe & Jason make it even tougher for the points leaders by playing spoiler for the night. Ryan Gremillion & Jason Smith take third and they split 54 bucks. Ryan keeps his hopes alive for the second half and he seals the deal for a second or third place overall trophy.
TOP THREE AM/NOV Shooting a damn good round of 42 (-12) and taking first place were Cory Clements and Brian Cantrell. They end up splitting 64 bucks. This was probably the biggest win for Cory all year. He is now only one point out of first for the second half, trailing only Todd Paraday. Cory also has guaranteed himself a top three finish in the overall and he still has a chance to claim the first place overall trophy. We had a tie for second with the teams shooting nice rounds of 44 (-10). Todd Paraday & Eric Smith win the ctp playoff on hole one and split 35 bucks. This was a huge second place finish for Todd. He still remains in first for the second half and he now jumps Randy McMurray for first place overall by a half point.

Key areas have been sprayed, basket areas & tees. This product works when the little shits land on the leaves & it takes a little time for them to do that. Although I got hit a couple of times today, I don't think you'll need repellent for the tournament. The huge suckers are called Asian Tigers.

I’ve talked with Mary Beth Windberg the new Superintendent of Recreation at the Mokena Park District. She gave us the okay for our doubles league to return to The Oaks next year. She’s an extremely nice lady who wants to rebuild relationships with the disc community especially with the people who want to run tournaments and leagues.

the clean up was a success! we filled 18 bags of trash and brought most of the signs back to life. hopefully its stays that way for doubles
Great work guys! The signs look awesome! I still don't know why the hell people think signing the back and front of signs is cool after they ace. It’s called vandalism and it’s one of the reasons why we lost Shorewood once already.

CONDITIONS Temperature was in the low 60s, cloudy & rainy right before we started. The sun came out during the round but the temperature stayed cool. Fall has arrived. The course was in great shape.

TOP THREE PRO/ADV Darrin Johnson & Al Hermosillo shoot a great round of 41 (-13) to take the top honors for the night. They end up taking home 50 bucks each. This is a huge win for both players. Darrin all but raps up the second half and overall victories. Only Al Hermosillo has a chance to catch and pass Darrin for the second half and only Ryan Gremillion has a chance to catch and tie him for overall. Al takes sole possession of second place for the second half and catapults into a tie for third with Shawn Harmon for the last trophy spot for the overall. Shawn Harmon & Dan Osysko shoot a very nice round of 42 (-12) to take the second place finish and they split 56 bucks. This was also a huge victory for both of these guys. Shawn keeps his hopes alive for the second half and jumps into a tie with Al for third place overall. Dan Osysko takes a huge jump into third place alone for the second half. Old timer Joe Fleischauer and Chris Brenholtz shoot a nice round of 43 (-11) to take the third and last cash spot for the night. They end up splitting 24 bucks. It's good to see Flash out playing again, he is one of Joliet's disc golf icons.
TOP THREE AM/NOV Jake Broughton & Randy McMurray shoot a nice round of 46 (-8) to clam the victory for the night. They end up splitting 51 bucks and more importantly tack on 4 points to their totals. Jake takes sole possession of fourth place for the second half and he is now in striking distance for the top spot. He also keeps his hopes alive for the third overall trophy. Randy jumps into a tie with Cory Clements for second place for the second half and they are only two points out of first. Randy also takes over the first place spot for the overall trophy from Todd Paraday. We had a tie for second with the teams shooting 48s(-6). Aris Pashos & James LoPrest win the ctp playoff to take second anf the last cash spot of $24. Joe Ward and Josh DeLucio take third. They receive no money but keep their hopes alive for the second half. Josh also still has a chance at an overall trophy.
