CONDITIONS
During registration we had a crazy ten minute storm roll in from the west. It produced 50mph winds with hail and quite a bit of rain. The round started out at around 82 degrees with dew points in the mid to upper 60s. So it definitely felt humid. The winds were calm and clouds were scattered. J-TOWN DOUBLES WEEK 2 RESULTS 2018
WEEK 2 - April 11, 2018
First Half #2
Trinity Links, Lockport, IL

TEES
Short Tees - 20 Holes • Par 60
We altered/added two holes. Hole 4b was around a 250’ hole that we threw from the Trinity living building to the practice basket. We also split hole 7 into two holes. The first one we threw a 250ish foot shot from the long tees to the open field. The second one we teed off from the open field near the creek to the regular basket. The hole played around 300 feet.

CONDITIONS
The night started out at around 65 degrees with scattered clouds and winds coming out of the south at around 10 mph. The temperature dropped into the high 50s by the end of the night. It was one of nicest league nights in April that I can remember. The course looks beautiful and it’s in fantastic condition.

NEW WOMENS DIVISION
Once again this year will have an all womens division. We will keep points the same way as the other divisions. We will have one first half winner, one second half winner and one overall winner. We hope more women will come out throughout the year. Please spread the word.

NOTES
• Once again we had many new faces that we hope will continue to show up each week. We also hope that the familiar faces that weren’t there will make their way back and be part of this year’s league.
We miss you!

• Please don’t be discouraged if you’re an AM and had a rough night. Shake it off and try again next week. The more you play and learn from the league’s more advanced players the better your game will evolve. We’ve all been through this stage. We’ll see you next week.

• Trinity Links has come a long way these last few years. A huge THANK YOU goes out to all the people who have busted their ass working on this course. There’s been a lot of blood, sweat, tears and heart put into making this course great. I’m just glad to say it’s one of our home courses.

• Thanks guys for letting us use the Trinity Links club house for registration.

• Leanne “Lee Lee”  Reidy draws cali and takes first shooting an amazing round of 63

• Matt “Machine Guns” Myers & David “Burner” Garb shoot an unreal round of 42 (-18) to easily clam the victory for the night in Pro/Adv Division. They make a huge early jump up the leader board!

• Matt “Mateo” Schuster and Tyler “Taebo” Wollenberg shoot an amazing round of 46 (-14) and crush the Am/Nov field by two strokes. They easily claim the victory and they make an early jump up the leader board!

• Once again The Swamps of Trinity ate many discs. The rakes definitely got a workout again.

• Shout out to James Cheever for being our designated disc retriever from the pond. James put himself to work after not being able to get into league on time. A lot of us benefited.

• Shout out to Mike Craig for the Zombie Dust.

• We had an all AM sweep on the massive payout CTPs
