WELL SAID DEAN!!  I played a round once with a pro player, he hit a small tree twice on an approach, reached in his bag and pulled out a folding saw and cut the tree down.  I've watched hole 20 at Mokena go from a well protected basket to one that's wide open.  For those that want to play where there's no tress, take up ball golf. 

I played a course at Lake Eureka in Eureka, IL.  It's about an hour and a half from Joliet.  55 south to 74 west to Eureka.  Very easy to find.  The course is located in the Lower Lake Eureka Park all the way in the back near the ball diamonds.  There were only two long holes, 400+ feet, one 300+, the rest under 300 feet.  Three holes were in the open, all the rest were in the trees.  The flow of the course was nice and there was plenty of signage indicating the next tee.  It's a finesse course ... I lost count of the trees I hit.

If anyone is looking to play a different course, give it a try.
