Highland Park Clean Up Party!

We need volunteers to come out this Saturday July 2 to help get Highland Park into shape for the 29th Illinois State Disc Golf Championships July 23-24. We’ll be weed whacking, cutting the tree lying over snake hill on hole 15, moving limestone, picking up garbage and much more. If you can make it out for a couple of hours that will be great. Bring any tools you have that might help especially weed whackers and wheel barrels. I’ll be out there by 8:00a.m. but come out whenever you can.

I'm going to start tomorrow. I walked around a little this afternoon & whew! we have work to do. I'm wondering if we can drive to some of these spots. I talked with Shawn & he said he'd be out & said others will also. We'll see.

I’m thinking a least 10 guys said they’d definitely make it out. Yes there is a crap load of work to be done on the course. We should be able to knock a lot out tomorrow. We also need to go over by the Belmont side and cut like last year.
