Thank you for the kind words my friend. I like that you said "see you later" because it certainly isn't goodbye! I'm going to miss you all.

You don't need details, Rob! If you're here, you're playing. Glad that's settled. See you then! Still can't believe you chose Army...  ;D

Update:

10 spots left in the "lower" divisions (Rec, Nov, and Women's)
23 spots left in the "upper" divisions (Adv and Int divisions)

Registration will close on Wednesday, March 26th at 4pm. Of course, if we fill before then, it will close at that time.

Another reminder: You must be a current PDGA member by tournament time or you will not be allowed to play! No exceptions. If you don't show as current on the PDGA site, please bring proof that you've signed up.

I don't think I've mentioned yet that the DG Guy, Terry Miller will be at the tournament videotaping for his blog. Very excited to have him there and to meet him in person!

LSDiscs will be running a doubles tournament at Channahon on Friday, March 28th....more details when I get them.

Also, we have two more new hole sponsors!

Paul Kenney - Gives great DG lessons, and runs the Sunrise League in Bartlett.
The Penalty Box - 16108 S. Rt. 59, Plainfield, IL  60586

We are big time if DG Guy is coming!

I found this stat interesting & thought I'd pass it on. The Mission served 151,503 hot meals in 2013.That's 415 a day on average. That blew my socks off!

And that's why it's so important to support them! Way to go Frank - thousands of those meals can be attributed to your hard work too!

Awesome! Thanks a bunch. I'll message you. The 37 is just my fave number(and birth year backwards).

Ah, I see! Yup, it's in my car and will stay there until it's ready to go home to you!

Just a quick note of thanks to the J-Town Disc Golf Club!  I was truly taken by surprise by being the recipient of the 2013 Member of the Year award!

I truly appreciate the way it makes you feel when your efforts are recognized.  Of course, that's not why I do it, it is just nice when it happens!

I do feel as though you are all my friends and that's why I enjoy disc golf...Here's to 2014 and growing the sport and making new friends and adding to my disc golf family!

Kevin

You definitely deserve it man! You're always willing to help and you are always smiling. It's a pleasure to be around you; even more so when we get to throw discs!

Fantastic. For me, First Flight is the light at the end of this snow tunnel. Your really busting a$$ Patrick, keeping us motivated this winter.

Very much agree! It seems you are really into it and going all out this year and it's pretty damn exciting! Thanks for all that you do!

Quite a rough one for losing discs. Going to take the hint for the ribbons next year. Great time had by my group, awesome job of putting this all together & I couldn't think of a better way to spend the day then out with all of you doing what we love.

If anyone happens upon them, I lost a Purple Beast to the left of Hole 4 by the woods(about equi-distant from the hole) and a pastel tye dye Destroyer on hole 14 in front of the hole by the bushes as well as a brand new blue Destroyer on hole 8 to the right of the hole in an open area about 75ft in front of it.
If anyone finds these, the first 2 are marked with JDK on them with my phone. I will give a reward for their return. The blue Destroyer is unmarked but Star brand.

Thanks again and glad to meet a new bunch of friends. Hope to be out as often as I can for future tourneys and leagues. Great way to spend a day.
Jim

I got your Tye-Dye Destroyer! There's no phone number or I would have called, but it IS marked JDK #37. By the way, what is the #37 for?

Due to all the snow on the ground now and with the expected snow in the upcoming days, we received an exemption to use ribbons on the discs.  Feel free to tape them up.

Any questions please ask.

Very cool! Way to look out for the players!

The Play-it-Again Sports on RT. 59  by Dominicks has a pretty solid selection of used discs.

The one in Lockport seemed to have few good discs as well.
