On hole #1 the basket has flags numbered 6,12,18. Each pennant has a different weight. The higher the # the heavier the pennant.  Although it doesn't work well, the idea is to rate the mph. Low #, light wind, all three, strong wind.

I really like the wind flag.  On Thursday we were saying how #9 would be great with one on top of the pole in the fairway, but at $30 each I understand why we don't see more.
