Highland Park is permanently being removed in the next couple of weeks. It sounds like they are wiping out most of the up top area for soccer fields and two huge playgrounds.

That is really unfortunate! Any plans for holes to be relocated?

How is that possible? Didn't pads just get put in?

Personally, I was pissed when I first read Jesse's post. WTF? I was going over what I was going to say to the Joliet Park District when I called them.....until I realized what day it was. Lol. Good thing I didn't have the time to call them right then, or they would have gotten a piece of my mind! (and man, would I be embarrassed!)

Now I come back to see who else got fooled, only to see someone had to let the cat out of the bag. Way to ruin all the fun.....

I apologize for letting the cat out of the bag, however, if you had called the park district, it would have made us all look bad. I saw that a few people had been fooled, and more still will be. They will read this post and freak out about it, but now they just won't post here.

The park district was in on it.
